It's a great way to get all of their fans in one place before dropping a nuke

I really love that kid. For only being 19 yrs old he's so mature and comfortable with himself and his basketball game. He's going to be great!

not sure if he's going to be "great" (obviously, definitions vary here), but he's a home run of a 9th overall pick.

Brice Johnson has a herniated disc. The Clips' fortune is the worst, right there with Portland in the past and current Philly. I have nothing personal against the players, but I'm kinda glad it seems like there's some higher power out there keeping the Clips down.

I don't like Andrew Wiggins. I don't like his game. I think he's becoming another league manufactured star. 3-11 for 19 points? Come on.

thought jamal murray looked QUITE good against the lakers. like, maybe calipari wasn't just pimping his guy when he said he thought he was the best player in the draft.

i saw almost none of that in college. much stronger with the ball than i expected, and a lot more athletic. especially on d.

he was playing against scrubs in the first game though and Luke the unwittingly gave Murray some confidence by playing rec center talent against him. In this game however, against real NBA competition, he folded as a rook will against veteran guys.

Embiid just got 12 rebounds in 14 minutes in a losing effort. Not too shabby.

J R Smith is still not signed, and it probably shouldn't make me smile, but it does.

Mo Williams was going to retire, but instead is having surgery and not negotiating a buyout of his 2.1 million contract. Apparently his body wasn't right last year, and indicated the Cavs didn't care.

The King and his Court. Have fun with that.

Embiid actually looks good out there, he might be their best big man out of the 20 they have.

I'm rooting for Embiid, nobody wants to see talent like that go to waste because of injury. The Sixers also need some positivity, it's not the players' fault that ownership has been tanking.

wild speculation from me, but okafor doesn't strike me as a hard worker, particularly at the boring stuff, which is what rehab is. i don't blame him, i was always too lax in my rehab exercises, too. they're no fun. but the most dedicated athletes do this right.

I just don't understand how other teams best players regularly get 12+ free throws. It just shouldn't happen. I hate when any player gets them, even Lou.

Making millions of dollars, with the potential for making tens of hundreds of millions of dollars on my next contracts would be plenty of motivation for me to rehab. It's part of the job, if he doesn't do it, then I do blame him, a lot, and I'd be glad we didn't draft him.
