i think harden's partying is a pretty poorly kept secret. but the dude manages to play 40mpg every year and miss zero time, so he can't just go home and drink all day. i do think his off-court focus is less than championship caliber, though. but why would this surprise anyone? i'm fairly certain this is a large part of why howard went to houston: they had a party culture locker room without any real competitive hardasses to kill the buzz.
If your team leaders are Harden and Howard, you aren't winning anything soon. There are way more talented players, way more hungrier teams that they can't just flip the switch whenever they want and win.
