Think it was more about getting Giannis to sign the extension moreso than screwing over Miami. They'd be okay if they'd start anyone other than Malik "Defensive Stopper" Beasley next to Dame.
Yep it was absolutely about the extension and Beasley makes no sense to pair with Dame in their team. Dame and Giannis are a great pairing and they'll do tweaks on their team for sure, they'll be strong by postseason and a team to consider
