    I’m just spitting facts here.

Jesse Minter is the next Michael McDonald.

fast defense. They make plays. Seems like players gravitate to him.

Kliff Kingsberry Brady ties. When he turned down the OC he kind of gave his word and said he was coming. I don’t know how that’s going to go over with Mark Davis. But he sees this now as an appealing job. Number 1 pick to work with Mendoza a potential first round pick. Heisman trophy winner. And Mendoza is better than Caleb Williams. Just like Ben Johnson now he comes. He did great work with Jayden Daniels. This is the situation to leave the commanders for.

Klint Kubiack the hottest name. Shannahan Tree. Called plays as 49ers passing game coordinator. Well didn’t call plays but was a big part of what they did. Called plays for the New Orleans Saints. New Orleans Saints OC Seattle Seahawks OC. did great work with Sam Darnold.

He gets a look. Would be perfect for Mendoza. They said could Johnson lead men? And look what he’s doing.

Mike Mccarrthy is a good name. I can see the Raiders hiring him. Experience Super Bowl ring. But don’t do it. I want a younger guy.

This guy give him a try. Daniel Lanning Oregon head coach. Does he leave?? Looks like a natural NFL fit.

very good candidate to get the job. Anthony Weaver Miami Dolphins Defensive coordinator.

I think getting Mendoza you want to get an offensive guy to work with him.

my outside choice. My outside the box choice. Phillip Rivers. Obviously knows Brady. Knows Quarterbacks.

Kevin Stefanski would make too much sense.

Steve Spagnola just to f*** with the Chiefs.

    To lol Chip Kelly

Again, the # is the coach's point differential. I put a star if it's not a point differential as a head coach of an NFL team, then I explain.

*17.7 Dan Lanning. Not leaving Oregon for the Raiders. He's making more than 10m a season and kicking a**.
*6.8 Grant Udinski (oversaw a pretty dominant offense, but the team also had a dominant defense). Only one season of experience in the OC role. I'd adjust this to +5.6, maximum.
*6.5 Bret Bielema - lots of college experience. +14.7 in 93 games at Wisconsin, +0.7 in 63 games at Arkansas, and +3.6 in 63 games at Illinois. He makes 8.4m a season.
*4.5 Chris Shula (average DC, with one low-average and one high-average, good season; LAR's success is more on offense than defense). Adjusted to +2.7.
*4.5 Jeff Hafley has overseen two defenses, both of which were top 13, and one which was top 6. They have been good. Excellent DC.
4.1 Mike McCarthy - big resume.
*4.1 Jesse Minter has served as DC the past two seasons for LA. Those defenses were good to very good, and they were especially stingy at allowing points. A borderline elite DC.
*3.0 Joe Brady has been OC for five seasons with two squads. In Carolina, his offenses were poor, ranking in the bottom third. In Buffalo, with Josh Allen, they've been elite. Worth noting: Ken Dorsey's offenses in Buffalo were even better, and he was a wash in Cleveland with no real QB. Brady also had Darnold and got nothing from him.
*2.5 Klint Kubiak has been an OC with three squads, each for one season. In Minnesota, they were middle of the pack. In New Orleans, they were bad. In Seattle, they were elite. He's an overall above average OC.
*2.4 Pete Carroll led the Raiders to at 3-14 record. Oof.
*1.8 Ted Monken (oversees average offense, elite rushing, on 8-9 squad) Has now had 3 good offense seasons, 3 average, and 1 poor.
*1.8 Deion Sanders (one massive success as a HC, two miserable failures - all in college)
*+0.9 Steve Sarkisian is a longtime college coach. +0.9 in 64 games at Washington, +13.9 at USC before a midseason firing, and +12.7 at Texas in 68 games. He also has OC experience in the NFL, leading two top-10 offenses in Atlanta (2017, 2018). He was +0.9 there. I don't think he's leaving Texas for the Raiders.
0.4 Matt Nagy (oversees average offense on 6-11 squad in 2025, has been an above average OC, with two top thirds, two average offenses.
*-.4 Mike LaFleur (above average OC, one elite season, one good season, one average, two poor)
    -0.4 Jon Gruden
-0.5 Ron Rivera (out of league)
-0.6 Rex Ryan (out of league)
-1.0 Kliff Kingsbury has college experience, with 75 games at Texas Tech. He was a +0.9 there. In the NFL, he was a head coach for four seasons, where he posted a -1 rating. He has been an average to above average OC.
*-1.2 Anarumo has overseen 8 defenses for three squads. In Miami, his defense was bottom 1/3. In Cincy, it was bottom third four times. It was average once and borderline top 1/3 once. In Indianapolis, his defense was borderline middle/lower third. Not a good DC.
-2.9 Antonio Pierce (out of league)
-2.9 Kevin Stefanski (With 0 good, 5 average, and 2 poor offenses, couple with 3 elite defenses and four average ones, Stefanski's losing record is hard to understand)
-3.1 Brian Flores (oversees top 10 defense on 9-8 squad)
-3.5 Vance Joseph 11-21 head coach record (-113) (oversees top 3 defense on 14-3 squad)
*-3.5 Anthony Weaver In three years as a DC, he's been average at best. He has overseen one top 10 defense and two in the bottom half, including arguably the worst.
-4.3 Raheem Morris (Below average DC, below average HC)
-4.3 Arthur Smith (oversees bottom 3rd offense on 10-7 squad)
-4.6 Jonathan Gannon (Dominant DC, below average HC; worth noting that with Murray at QB, Gannon was -0.2, not bad)
-5.1 Brian Daboll (Average OC, below average HC)
-5.2 Robert Saleh 20-36 (-293) (oversees average defense on 12-5 squad)
-6 Darren Rizzi 3-5 (-48) (out of league)
-6.2 Jeff Ulbrich 3-9 (-74) (oversees average defense on 8-9 squad)
-7.2 Thomas Brown 1-4 (-36) (out of league)
-9.8 Brian Callahan (two bad seasons as HC, five below average/below average as OC)
    -10.6 Steve Spagnuolo 11-41 (-549) (oversees top 10 defense on 6-11 squad)
-11.9 Aaron Glenn (was someone I gave a tentative 2.5 last season; I wouldn't want him as either a DC or a head coach)

I agree that this HC job is much more attractive than it was last season. Top pick. Near the top of the pack for cap space.

Brian Flores currently has the best odds of landing the head coach spot, with Brian Daboll as OC. It would be pretty unimpressive. A slightly below average HC coupled with a below average OC. I guess Daboll did help Allen develop, so there's that.

I figured they'd interview Flores, but I guess Joseph is available for an interview as soon as tomorrow.

    John Harbaugh +5.4.
That +5.4 is the best among NFL head coaches who are currently available.

Gotta get the Rooney Rule interviews out of the way. Just get me a black guy to talk to. I’m just being sarcastic but Damn. We know Vance Jospeh ain’t getting the job.

it’s funny how the teams race to talk to the black guys so they could get Rooney out the way.

you really think the Tennessee Titans are rushing to hire Raheem Morris????

the worst was the Cowboys Jerry Jones interviewing Marvin Lewis knowing damn good well he was going to hire Mike McCarthy.

Honestly the best Raider Hire would be Chargers Defensive Coordinator Jesse Minter.

Davis Webb rumors. He's been in Denver as QB Coach and Passing Game Coordinator.

Davis Webb is nice. That’s a good interview. But that can’t be the guy you hire.

he’s gotta be a Daniel Lanning

    a Jesse Minter

    a Kliff Kingsburry.

you see what Baltimore is hiring that wants to hire.

but maybe Davis Webb will be nice. I know he played at Baylor. So if he’s bringing that Art Briles type offense over that would be great.

    up tempo.

And who knows he might be a star another Liam Cohen another John Gruden.

Webb played at Texas Tech, with that Air Raid offense. He played at Cal; did he also play at Baylor?

At least we're hearing some interesting and exciting names. I think Cignetti is crazy talk. He's dominating where he is, makes tons of money, and has incredible job security.

No more retreads no matter how much they have accomplished. Harbaugh is currently the HOT ticket. We need to start fresh and young. Pair with a young squad, Mendoza... Let's be competitive to start...build from there.
