I believe that was sent before the deal was done or maybe even started - it all happened in 72 hours and you imagine it takes a few days to draft a proper investor update letter and this was sent at the start of the week. So it was most likely finished before they even reached out to Walter.

I think Bob Iger could be an interesting addition to the Lakers from the point of view of experience running mega corporations and empowering great people to do a good job. He could also serve as an effective front man during negotiations. Not to mention the media bias improvement we are sure to get from his standing on that side.

Negatively, he is in his mid 70s and doesn't have the stamina of a younger counterpart, doesn't have a huge amount of wealth compared to other owners.

Kushner, admittedly, I know little about. Thrive Capital isn't clear on who's invested in. I do know Princeton University's Endowment Fund has invested in it, and they do very well from a return perspective holding things long term. There's 50 bn in capital across 10 raises in there, so it'll be wide ranging in its investors.

I'm unsure of how keen they will be to do major investments into the team - we could use a whole modernisation in our staff, physical infrastructure, scouting locally and internationally, business side etc.

Myers you would think HAS to be telling them all this IF they really are intent on doing it right.

Like we were led to believe we had with Walter & Co.

Will be interesting if we go after Bob Myers. I know he is abeer's favorite as he is one of the better GM's.

Does Myers come with Jerry West? Because that’s when he was most successful

    Walter was my saving grace.

Don't care much for this new owner.

    We're probably f*****.

But at least we got Luka and a decent to good roster. But this s*** sucks.
