Do not want. Do you know HOW OLD LLLLL is? Look at this: Spoiler: Shocking Evidence of imminent decline
LaBron to LA confirmed. The King has found a worthy successor. Sidebar: Another statistical comparison is that LaBron had his worst shooting percentage as a rookie (42%/29%).
Okay, so I'm convinced dinner with Kobe hasn't happened yet cause he's not Zo's type. Meanwhile Zo and Bronnie probably have a dinner date planned when the Cavs hit up LA....stranger things have already happened between those 2. Bron already laid down the groundwork by saying the Cavs old a** team prefers to sleep in the visiting city and fly out the next day. Maybe these 2 finally get their night cap. Queue up Netflix and...#2018plan.
Might be true, but there's no real reason for Lonzo not to talk to Kobe. LeBron will tell him the same damn thing. If I were a young player like that, I'd be reaching out to absolutely every old player I can, especially the greats. Lonzo might not be Mamba, but he can learn a f***ing lot about details and work ethic.
Yall forgot about the mamba mentality from Summer League? Lakers were and are his favorite team. He loves Lebron, and Lebron seems to love Lonzo. Ill take it.
Enough of the hug fest. Foul someone and get a flagrant already. Dunk on someone and stare them down.
Averaging more points than he has since 2010, his most blocks since 09, and his best efficiency of his career. That one missed dunk though! What an idiot!
Sounds familiar... best efficiency since... most since.... but the team is struggling.... play him more minutes....SNAP! goes the achilles.
Btw Kobe had played 54,031 career minutes (season + playoffs) when his achilles popped. Lebron is at 51,077 career minutes, playing 37.8 mpg this season. Yes, sprained ankles and missed dunks make me nervous as hell.
Might not want to hear it, but LeBron is a better athlete than Kobe. This is a simple missed dunk. There's nothing else to it. Will he break down one day? Sure. Everyone does. He's still better by far than anyone on our team and it's not even close. He's better than anyone we've had on our team since probably 2010. Kyle Kuzma, 22, with 606 minutes missed a dunk yesterday. I guess his Achilles is going to pop too?
Wait, so because Lebron is a better athlete than Kobe, his joints and ligaments are less prone to damage even though they're placed with 20% more load (260lb vs 220lb) on a nightly basis? And missed dunks from seasoned vets VS rookies with suspect conditioning are not the same. The former implies that a player has lost a step or lost athleticism (to which you suggest is important to avoid injuries)
It implies nothing, you're really reaching here. It's a missed dunk and there's really nothing else to read into it except what you want to. People miss dunks all the time. He tried to put something behind it and he screwed it up. And yes certain athletes deal with wear and tear differently. Karl Malone was massive and heavy and didn't miss more than 20 games in his career until he finally got hurt at age 40. Jordan never really had the type of serious injuries Kobe did. Kobe put himself through hell for us for 20 years and frequently refused to take time off for the sake of getting out there. You think that didn't take its toll? LeBron will break down one day, but there's zero evidence that it's happening this season.
I guess we shoulda known Kobe (6 year vet at the time) was going to go down at some point after this attempt... Shoulda traded him when we had the chance. Sorry bro, but one reach deserves another haha.
