Wearing a black and purple shirt to watch the Laker game a day after someone from his agency signs with the Lakers... If you've kept track of some of the "subtle" things he does, this is the type of thing that sticks out. It's a passive aggressive sort of thing that he does that gives a tiny window into what he's thinking. He doesn't do things without carefully calculating them out. If he ends up signing with the Lakers, keep track of these small things.
He's coming. He was doing a scouting report on Ball. It's cool. We'll win 40 games and him and PG will team up.
I know it's all so far fetched today, man trust me. I don't typically like these sorts of things, but he's done this kind of thing before, that's all I'm saying. Right now it seems ridiculous, but if the Lakers clear the way like they're trying to, this moment will be among the moments people say lead him here.
I think it is going to happen. I'm serious. I don't know about the 40 games, LOL! But I do think he's coming along with another star. This is what a friend told me "Hate to say it...but with Kobe gone the stars will want to play in LA again and to shine under the brightest lights. The team that contends with and takes down GSW will ALWAYS BE highly regarded." I think there's a lot of truth in that; when it comes to FA's and LeBron in particularly.
Free agents wanting to play in L.A. has a lot more to due with competent management then it does Kobe being retired now. See last offseason as evidence.
I don't think it's ever been more apparent, especially a year in advance, that a superstar is leaving a championship caliber team. And although I was skeptical of the LA rumors at first, I'm starting to believe there is smoke to this fire.
Getting number 17/bringing the Lakers back on top would to wonders on his legacy , he might look it this way after bringing a title to his hometown . Lebron to the Lakers would be crazy buzz wise
I never seen him at a SL game before for the last 3yrs but maybe he just never got focused on like he was at that gm?
I really don't know if he's a frequent SL spectator, but I just can't imagine this being a coincidence. On a night when LeBron won an ESPY, he was in Vegas. Since when does LeBron pass on accepting attention-I mean an award? For what it's worth, Trudell and Sedano were sitting near LeBron and they said he was absolutely 100% watching Lonzo Ball. He was keeping track of the game, looking up to see Lonzo on the screen for replays, he was looking into him. This does not mean he's 100% coming to LA, but he is 100% looking into it. He's 100% looking at the option of LA.
