    He is a very athletic Center who is actually making progress learning how to shoot threes. But, I'm sure there is a good reason why he has been dumped a couple of times now.

    No offense, but I don't think this thread is needed. He's not going to play. Or stay. On the other hand, McKinney is our wing depth, just in case. We needed exactly that.

    Do we need another center? Playoffs, AD will likely slide into the center for a lot of the minutes and with Trezz/Gasol, I don't see the need for a center unless for injury reasons. Lakers are better off getting another athletic wing who can cover for Bron off the bench defensively.

    Gasol is your limited minutes center when you need passing, defense and will play more in specific matchups.

    Trez loves playing center and he gives us a lot of versatility. That's where the league is going and we needed to move away from multiple traditional centers that were unplayable in the playoffs.

    AD plays center, both in the regular season and even more so in the playoffs, providing both scoring and defense.

    I know this was a long answer to your question, but the short one would be... no. We don't. It's clear what Rob is doing here.

    Bell was a "can't miss" prospect out of Oregon who showed flashes at Golden State. He's fallen this far. Who knows if we can get something out of him.
