I’m officially off the JJ train. He leans too small ball heavy for me, and absolutely refuses to play young talent. Young legs get you through nights like the one in Phoenix. The 2 big lineups with Timme was a revelation and he walked away from it. JJ is where young players go to die. I feel sorry for Theiro and whatever unfortunate soul we draft this summer. They have no chance as long as he’s here.

Yeah I'm warming to this too and you point out my main reasons. It's inexplicable why Timme and those type of lineups disappeared when it looked like they had some success and the lack of young guys burn when it's actually a season that had opportunities to do so is worrisome

    Bad week for us

JJ sucks. He needs to go. I'll just say it. It's been apparent for a minute. F the roster. Just send his podcasting a** home.

I feel like this is the inevitable result of hiring someone with no experience on any level. Hes learning in real time.

Front office should have anticipated issues especially after Darwin.

They did this for Bron, apparently. He wanted his buddy, and Rob did it.

You know what the crazy part is, Elgin? We let a better coach get away that we saw last night; early sample size, but Jordan Ott looks more like the guy we needed, and he was on our bench. Figures.

I wanted a real coaching search. Instead we helped Hurley get even more job security and hired a podcaster.

There’s just no way there weren’t going to bumps along the way.

What’s crazy is that my understanding is that LeBron actually didn’t push them for this. JJ legitimately blew them away.

LeBron didn't push them for it, but sometimes, it's what goes unsaid. They wanted to appease Bron by trading for AD (was smart), they wanted to appease Bron by drafting his son, they wanted to appease Bron by hiring his buddy JJ. Oh, and trading for Westbrook.

LOL. It is what it is.

Need stronger leadership. Outside of Bronny, those should all have been easy no’s. (And lowkey, I don’t think Bronny is that bad).

But they know LeBron puts butts in the seats even if we lose. It’s why I’m still leaving a small chance we bring him back just to milk that fair well tour. Especially if we whiff on free agents.

Don't care about Bronny; however, he's taking up $$$$ & and a roster spot on a team that just lost to teams who were missing 2 starters and a team that could use the depth.

We can't bring Bron back just for a farewell tour. We're going to take another year of Luka's prime away to sacrifice a LeBron farewell tour for the money? That's such a "Jeanie" thing to do, but I don't think it's a "Mark Walters thing." If that's the case, I'm checked out next year.

It will be a test of whether we've switched philosophies or not to me. I'm about 80% LeBron is gone, but can't shut the door completely with Rob and Jeannie around.

I want him out completely. Need to move on. he can take Reddick, too, but I think he stays next season.

Hopefully we can finally get the ship fully in the right direction soon. Tired of having the same complaints year after year.

I’ve jumped off the JJ train also. He plays the starters long after it’s over. He doesn’t develop or trust any of the younger guys. Not at all creative at play calls. Think he’s lost the locker room. He needs to be gone this summer.

Although JJ and Lebron can be blamed for many problems, it feels like Rob and Co better get flushed out soon too since we keep having the same problems despite different coaches.

We didn't exactly win free agency again with the amazing signing of Ayton! Poor JJ couldn't fix him with the special crunk juice.

I’m not watching if they bring LeBron back.
I too am out on JJ, but he will be given at least another season to prove himself.
I’m still worried about this FO. Walter better get some uber respected guys in here who can actually facilitate big things or this summer is going to really suck.
There’s no way Rob, with his limited friends around the League, will be able to bring in a very good starting C, very good two way wing, microwave scorer off the bench, AND a good backup PG all by himself.
    Tick Tock Mr WalterP 38.
