If this does not boost his confidence after recent games, nothing will. That was an incredible performance!
Elite game from Austin. Best 3rd option in the league. His ability to scale up or down and fit into any situation is an extremely rare skill. Best he's looked movement wise post-injury, which is great news. Loved the fight in this sequence from him
Too lazy to look it up but he MUST be the best contract in the NBA. Like i said before, you want Austin, you call with Giannis, Ant in a trade. Otherwise, stop wasting everyones time
What AR lacks in actual speed/athleticism on the court “driving the ball” (not much) …. is more than made up for with his first step, excellent handle, strength of his base and having the long strides of an almost 6’6” frame. Plus the jukes. He just blows by guys, including finding the holes in heavy congestion. Such a fun and thrilling player to watch play the game of basketball.
Almost willed us to an impossible win. Would I trade him for Giannis? Yes, but the list of names I would trade him for is growing shorter and shorter.
I think he’s very athletic- just not the high-fly vertical kind. You have to be athletic to do what he does off the dribble. The kid is elite with the ball in his hands and I think is STILL very underrated for what he’s already shown so far in his career.
^^^ Wow 6 comments in and NO white boy can't really play remarks yet. When Austin is ON and hitting from deep and having for HIM a good game he's one of the most exciting players in the League to watch play. Due to how MANY skills he brings to the game, his competitive fire and fearless toughness out there.
well... i think it's quite clear that we've got our backcourt of the future. their defensive struggles were super overblown.
This is the type of play I was hoping for when Lebron went down, Reaves sliding into that 2nd option behind Luka and being aggressive. Two nice games back to back after a few stinkers.
Folks have seen the film and are prepped for the crossover. A new wrinkle is doing Manu/mini Shamgod, faking the cross, and just attacking straight off his right hand. The straight blowby is causing defenders a lot of problems as theyre prepped for the sauce and before they realize AR has gotten the step on them
How many teams have EVER had three players with triple doubles in the same year on the same team? Gotta think that list is short.
