The way I saw it, it would have made sense to get Ziaire OR Thybulle.

Not that they’re similar players, but that they’re both wing depth that you’re taking a flier on. But I don’t think you can rely on either to provide significant production.

I get the idea of rounding out the back end of the roster with cheap wings with athletic/defensive upside and hope that one of them pops, but at a certain point I think the “committee” approach starts to spread itself too thin and it’s hard for any individual player to get the rhythm and opportunity they need.

Still want Kuminga and thinks it makes too much sense for both sides.

Lebron really has this Agenda of I’m going to f*** the Lakers. Like what the actual f***???

and he’s really just doing this to f*** the Lakers. The guy is so calculated. Made sure Bronnys contract was fully guranteed.

it’s probably definitely Cleveland but he just wants to f*** with the Lakers cause he really doesn’t like how they did him.

you know I said no statue just because of the actions. You know at this point. No Jersey retired. It’s a joke.

and you know what? I’m serious. We’re definitely keeping Bronny. Enjoy your final season in Cleveland LeBron chasing small forwards and players on the perimeter with James Harden and Donavan Mitchell.

yeah Philly with Embiid. Lebron is but hurt because teams aren’t dancing for him. And the vanity he’s not the sexiest one on the block. This is sunset blvd. All over again.

They need Kaminga. Too many potential guys who aren’t defined offensively. Thiero LaRavia. Williams. Adding Thubi would be a disaster in terms of scoring.
You are right they need Kaminga for the scoring.

My understanding here is that Thybulle would be in addition to Kuminga. A 2 or even 3 for 1 trade for Kuminga is what opens up the roster spot to also add Thybulle. If we aren’t getting starting caliber guy like Kuminga, yeah that changes how I see it, but it gave me the impression we are trying to add crazy depth at the wing, and I love the idea of that.

I imagine if they open 3 spots, they sign a Two-Way to a Contract and then sign someone else to a Two-Way as well as Thybs and then go from there.

Seems like there are some people on the Summer League team that they are excited for.

Max is a good young player and was popular while he was here. He would make any team in the league better. Plus everyone knows you can't stand him so they are trying to irritate you. It appears mission accomplished...lol.

He hasn’t been able to stay healthy, yeah. But if he’s only brought in as the 14th man for specific situations or in case of other injury and not relied upon as the 8th or 9th man he may be able to hold up better.

OX never did chime in with the WHO we needed and he hoped we would get in the draft and off season once his hated LBJ was gone. I asked what he thought of the pickups so far and all he did was b**** about Pelinka over paying for everyone. In between popping in to dump on Bronny or Max. ;)

Agreed, we will keep the trophy but otherwise get out the Clorox and scrub all things LeBron out of Laker lore. There is an Inupiaq term for beat it but it is long and hard to spell...lol.

Both are point of attack defenders and stocks generators. Also both shoot the three decently. Thybulle quietly improved both accuracy and volume past couple years. Williams is close to league average on above average volume, that's really all we need. Both generate steals, blocks, and deflections. Nothing wrong wth having both of them, they are not like Vando. Thybulle ads a little muscle for those concerned with skinnyness.

Meh, let him be petty. I say he can have his 23 (not 6 and NOT BOTH) in the rafters for the Title AND for breaking Kareem's record with us.....but if anyone says he gets a statue, I'd be annoyed.

Again....I want Statues for people that at least are Kobe's, Shaq's, and Magic's level to the TEAM overall. Not just winning, but like...played through the thick and the thin. BALLED. Won more than 1 Title for the Team. Improved and played with a lot of other good name people, ie the Horrys, Foxs, Fishers, Malones, Gasols, Worthys, Scotts, and what nots of the team that OVERALL got better and also helped the team...... Do all that, and you get a statue. One title and being a big name is not enough for a statue. It shouldn't ever be.

LeBron can have a Statue in Cleveland, FOR SURE, and Miami.....but not enough for it here.
