Maybe I'm wrong, but after the Luka deal I think that we are on the Dallas' blacklist.
Like, if they want a 1st round pick or three 2nd round picks for PJ, from us they'd pretend at least a 2nd pick more.

I tend to agree, except Masai is in charge now. And I have faith he’ll do what’s best for the organisation regardless of what fans think.

3 seconds and a swap to get off a guy that has a 4 year and pretty rough contract in this CBA is a good deal for them in my opinion.

Lebron is an example of when you over stay your Welcome. Lakers diss Lebron even if the story will be Lebron left Lakers. No way Kobe or MJ would have played for Vet min and would have rather retired.

When did Lebron sign for the minimum? Kobe or MJ weren't already billionaires, still hooping at a high level at 42 either tho. This dude is just different.

I still don't get all the James blah blah blah. We sucked a** for 5 seasons straight before he showed up. Won a chip, picked up AD who we flipped for Luka, and the franchise tripled in value.

What the F is the problem? Let that man go on about his business. He earned it IMO.He fulfilled his contract here, and then some.

    SALUTE!

Well not signed yet but will be running out of options for a mid level. If not then he is left with vet min, Yes but inflation. A mil yesterday went further than a mil today. Sure he has money but it still dont mean play for next to free. When your loaded you dont stop to say let me do it for cheap. Once you stop making money shop closes. You dont start selling your goods for chump change because your worth billions. It has to be worth your time.

I'll let that grown man, do whatever he wants to with his life. He doesn't play here anymore, it doesn't bother me either way. I still respect the toil he put forth in Purple and Gold.

Didn’t he get our former coach fired?

I don’t think he’s going to Golden State to have to face the coach he undermined.

to me, That signals he’s going somewhere else

Its has nothing to do with what he accomplished with Lakers. Its more of his Legacy. I felt he should have left years ago to try and win with a 4th team. Instead he stayed only to get kicked out by Lakers. Diss by some fans, Fisher, Byron Scott etc. It even have polls out there ex.

Last week, we asked if you would like to see the Lakers retire LeBron James’ jersey. Here are the results:

    Yes: 32
    No: 54

Its not exactly like he is a 42 year old Duncan and fans franchise liking him. He is being Diss for the most part.

Anyone else get the feeling if Kuminga doesn't come, the Lakers will quickly shift to Peyton and maybe get that done instead?

23 SHOULD be retired for the Title and then beating Kareem's Scoring Record....that's it though. No statue. Statues need to be for LAKERS. Like even if Luka won a ring, I'd be hard pressed to give him a statue too. Maybe more than one, and depending on the style he does it....but like....I think Statues should be for the ones that REALLY made the overall biggest collective difference for the Team. LeBron won the ring and passed the scoring record and that is it for us. The rest, we sort of got screwed on.

Lakers cant get either unless another team or teams gets involved. I think neither of them will be a Laker. Except for GSW whatever team dont sign Lebron will look into Johnathan.

I don't think we have what we need to get Watson. Denver will never agree.

I'm sensing we might be done with Ziaire. We have 15 players and can only acquire someone via S&T without many assets while trying to offload unwanted players like Knecht/Vando.
I feel that both would have been easier to deal when teams had cap space. We probably tried but if we couldn't do it that time, we likely won't now. Nobody wants them and we don't have the picks to sweeten those deals.

It will be great if we get another forward though
