Hand someone a pen. If that's true and we keep our 2nds, we still have assets to better shore up some of our other weaknesses too.

Basically 4/80 with a team option.

I suspect Kuminga’s agent (Aaron Turner) is a problem. Look up his client list and his previous clients… which includes Victor Oladipo and Terry Rozier as his two biggest clients.

We don’t need to get too into Rozier because of where he is now, but Turner advised Oladipo to turn down a max contract extension from Indiana and later a 2 year $45 million contract from Houston, only to end up on vet minimums and a 2 year $20 million contract with Miami at the end of his career.

His agent basically misread the market and thought Oladipo could lock in more long term guaranteed money when it turns out nobody was willing to offer more than that.

Fast forward to Kuminga, who turned down a $75 million 3 year contract extension from the Warriors to settle for the 2 year $48.5 million contract that Kuminga was currently on, where the team option on the second year was declined.

Now I suspect Turner is trying to see if the Lakers can unload what’s left of our draft capital just to salary dump and recover the guaranteed money Kuminga walked away from.

Looking at the 4 year contracts Pelinka handed out to Grimes and Mamu, Pelinka probably blinks and bids against himself to get Kuminga paid.

The unfortunate part is that I have real doubts Kuminga gets anything more than the mid level exception from anyone. If they overplay their hand Kuminga probably ends up somewhere on a vet minimum.

Ok.Watson wanted to get 30 millions but he's not worth it.
Dillon Brooks, RJ Barrett ,Jarrett Allen get paid this kind of money.
So Clippers are trying to get him, whatever
Balmer has money, but have no idea how salary cap works

Another pick? It seems like Johnathan have negative value around the league.

We should keep Bronny also. Why try to help the Cavs? Hes a developmental player for us. Nobody helps us.

If we can lock up Kuminga for a few years with a team option then I can see the pick swap. I’m hesitant to give up assets if it’s only going to be another one year rental.

Honestly, I’d be pretty content if we could somehow swing Williams and Jonas and keep our picks but I don’t know if they are willing to sign for minimums.

Looks like no expansion of the trade
