OKC and SGA deserve all the flack - put up these "historic" numbers, all the national media suck their balls and they luck out to a title last year and now put up a stinker against the SAS. Love that SGA the new Jordan numbers tank in the playoffs - f*** anyone think this is a guy on the level of guys like Jokic, Lebron, Curry, Kobe, etc

YES, IT’S OVER! The witch is dead. I fully believe Indy beats OKC in that game 7 last year too if not for Haliburton’s injury. Eff those guys and their brand of hoops. 1999 Finals rematch, kind of cool, don’t really care who wins.

    far from dead unfortunately

missing their 2nd best player the entire playoffs, and they have 11 first round picks in the next 5 drafts so they can go get virtually anyone that is available for a trade.

Yeah, don’t really care who wins the Finals either, but it should be a good matchup.

this was a cool series to watch. Nice adjustments all around, and just goes to show how important it is to have the best players on your team. And bench talent. And a good coach who makes adjustments on the fly well.

we got swept by OKC and now they are out

no way anyone predicted a NY/SA Finals

Holy cow, STILL that many? They’re going to have some salary Issues starting pretty soon, with that type of pipeline to replenish talent, I can’t see them dropping off out of contention for many years to come.

but I have to admit I did like and admire the fact that OKC never gave excuses that their second best player was injured and out

I REALLY wanted us find a way to draft him, regardless of trade up cost

There's a difference approach of snatching who falls to you (Dalton) vs going to grab who's worth the juice.

I hope Walter's group is more aggressive.

who the heck wants to pay Chet 5 years/240 million after that terrible performance. He averaged like 9 points a game.

If OKC is willing to put up the necessary level of picks, which they can, and the new lottery mandate is a race to the middle...Chet can help get them there, especially out East.

Yeah they’re not going anywhere. The salary constraints are real, but it’s pretty obvious that Dort can go. Hartenstein is a great regular season player but his minutes tend to decrease over the course of a series against any legit playoff opponent. Caruso is the guy they’re going to really miss if they lose him, but Wallace is ready to step into that role. Over the next couple of seasons I’ll think they’ll morph from this awesome defense, Shai do everything on offense team into a more offensive-oriented team with Shai, Mitchell and J-Dub if he can return to form.

I think the basketball gods are pleased tonight. OKC and their foul baiting flopping nonsense got vanquished by a team that played with real heart. More power to Wemby and the Spurs. They played the right way and they were easy to root for in this series. Loved what I saw from Dylan Harper, Castle, Vassell, Champagnie, Fox and even Kornet with that chase down block on Frankenstein. No small feat to go into OKC and beat them in a game 7 of the WCF. Props. Looking forward to the Finals.

Somehow I’m just finding out Dylan Harper is Ron Harper’s son.

    kid looks real solid

also, did anyone notice it seemed like Caruso tried to play some hero ball? Didn’t work out too well when he has to step outside the system. 3-14

Wembys a beast. It’s his league as I said on here. He’s the Goat. In the game 7’s the great players take over and he took over.

And in my Barry Bonds voice. All of you. All of you. Who were screaming how Deep OKC is. Where yall now?????? Hartenstein he didn’t do s***. Got blocked and turned the ball over. Got blocked by Magic city Kornet. As if he blocked all of our Magic city night.!!!!

Cason Wallace showed out. McCain didn’t hit his big shot.

And their coach was out coached. Slick I’m sorry Brotha but I’m not trading a 1st round pick for Dort can’t do it.

Shai showed up. I got a lot of respect for Shai. Gentleman. But not having Jalen Williams was a huge difference. No Adai Mitchell was huge. Changed the whole offense.

    And Caruso got Cold.!!!!!!!!
