Damn Ayo looks like a beast making Minnesota forget about NKA

The NBA needs to send a message. Yall won’t like this. But if that was Ron Artest he would’ve been suspended. Jokic needs to be suspended for the next game. Against Minnesota Jokic needs to miss it. Other teams need to send the message (if NBA can't do it). Send 11th/12th guy off the bench and clock one OKC player every game. I would do it, and then, when alien boy suspends me without pay... i would just go and planted some trees. After all, it's perfectly legal.

 

Damn I would’ve traded 4 second round picks for Ayo. We should’ve just traded one of our 1st round picks. We could’ve sent a better package than Minnesota.

In a hypothetical, if we were going to just bring back the team, wouldn't we have access to the MLE because we didn't use any cap space but just resigned everyone? I believe we would from my readings, so as an example:

1) Sign Kennard to 13.7m on a 25% via a non bird right raise

2) Sign Ayton to 10.1m on a 25% via a non bird right raise

3) Sign Hayes to 5m on a 2y/10m contract via bird rights with a team option next year

4) Sign Rui to 15.1m on a 3y/49m contract via bird rights with a player option for the 3rd year

5) Sign Reaves to 37.5m on a 5y/220m contract via bird rights with a team option in year 5

6) Sign Smart to 15.1m on a 3y/49m contract via the full 3 year MLE

7) Trade a combination of Knecht, Vando & NSJ with a combined salary of 19.13m for up to a salary of 24m (125% + 100k)

8) Lebron takes whatever is left - should be about 20m if we take on another development player and leave 3m for a buyout candidate

I've left our 25th pick in there as it's the highest salary we'll have from our development player, but that may very well be traded.

We'd really need to hit on our 5th starter trade and hope for continued strong play and internal development from Kennard, Rui and Adou.
