The thing with KD is he’s a phenomenal player.

but I remember KD with Westbrook you can blitz him cause Westbrook is taking jump shots.

they were unbeatable when they had Harden because with that beautiful shooter you couldn’t blitz him. With Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson you couldn’t guard him. It was an impossible cover. With Booker it was an impossible cover. You can’t do it. With a beautiful shooter.

Durant has no choice. He has no shooters around him. Blitz this a** and force those non shooters to shoot.

you couldn’t do this defense with Klay and Steph. It’s common basketball sense.

that’s why I always like the Houston matchup. That’s why Denver is so good with Jokic and Murray can’t blitz Jokic with Murray and they were unbeatable with Porter Jr.

As good as Thompson is he’s just not a great shooter.

That’s not one, not two, not three …. but four straight times we’ve whipped their butts pretty much the same way even though these last two were presumed to be much harder being the playoffs and no Luka or Reaves, and looking like the tougher team to beat leading them pretty much all the way each game. Even short the Big 2 part of the Big 3. They have more super duper athletes plus KD but Lakers have vastly more playoff experience in its roster and more actual “all around basketball talent”.
