I don't find this funny at all. I'm offended and I don't like it.

Funny thing about the Quakers nickname is it would have made more sense than Lakers.

The origin was the Minneapolis Lakers from Minnesota, the Land of Many Lakes. Makes perfect sense.

    more than Quakers

It started as an observation many many years ago with a trend of the Lakers having an average of two white players on their active roster per year for like 10-20 years (Quota) jokes about major market requirements due to viewership, etc. most of them were below average bench players, and difficult to explain why they were drafted by us or on our roster tbh.

now it’s a schtick and funny to observe it change over time in a league clearly dominated by superior athletes of color. This is the highest ratio during my lifetime, and I’m clearly not the only one who noticed or think it’s funny. Since white men can’t jump, how do we expect to be able to compete?

for those that don’t know, I’m white, so it’s poking fun at my own. I’m amused. Nothing more.

You’re pretty much not offended by anything. Nice try.

So am I .... but just so continuously often, and especially since there's a big number on Lakers. "Athletes" in all colors McClung said hold all 3 of his beers.

    :Beertoast2:

Could he have been worse than Gabe?

It's crazy how much a difference Stephen Adams makes - the defense and offensive rebounding made that team work despite it's against the grain makeup. Not anymore

yeah, who knew? well, every team that's had steven adams, i guess. funny that those teams almost always underperformed in the playoffs, though, because teams made them pay for adams being a non-factor with the ball on offense.

Yeah, I"m probably discounting as @sk2408 pointed out that it takes teams more time in the regular season to adjust to odd ball tactics as they only see those teams a few times a year.

Probably bit the Lakers in the a** last year as Finch was like this small ball stuff you're trying JJ aint going to work over a series.

I’ve never been a fan of CP3 - in fact quite the opposite. As silly as it seems though I just watched him on Finding Your Roots last night and I have to admit he won me over a little. I could live with picking him up if it comes down to it.

You could pick up CP3 for the vet minimum, sure... but he won't really play. If you want him as a leader, assistant coach type of role, I get it.
