Rob needs to call Washington and make a play for Justin Champagnie or Bilal Coulibaly. Young, athletic wings who can guard 1-3. Would be a huge upgrade over Gabe. Both on cheap contracts too.

Cooper Flagg is seriously impressing me. I've been following the kid for longer than most (he grew up an hour from where I live), but I didn't see his contributions being this big this quickly. He just seems to get what it means to be a pro.

    Bawhahhaahaa!
Why did he swipe down so hard- like he was downing a pesky dragonfly?
I actually love his attitude on D, but he may be on the Dalton level of low intelligence.

Why did you add the age like it's supposed to be a bad thing? That's a guy in his prime with his 5 best years ahead of him, exactly what we need around Luka.

We need to be wary with guys missing time in tanking/developing teams. He played 78, 66 and 76 the years before. He had a shoulder injury last year and in such teams they just take extra time and don't force a comeback. He's completely recovered this year, and only missed time with a calf injury for a few games, so the shoulder appears to be healed.
Regarding playing badly, it's like Ellis, Agbaji and before Derrick Jones, DFS, Green, Ariza, etc, this type of guys will suck in bad teams because they are asked to do too much, the team collectively doesn't work and they struggle more on offense. Here they have a very simplify role: defend the other team's best player and shoot open shots. That suits them and elevates their game.

I think NOLA also has our 2027 pick, so they may need extra incentive to deal with us.
I don't think we'll have the package to get him from NOLA, but I'm absolutely certain he's exactly the frame of player we need

man, i'd be doubly mad if i'm a gs fan, as to get that offensive rebound, the suns just shoved guys in the back. then you're going to call a foul on the ill-begotten shot attempt? weak stuff.

i actually don't love brooks's attitude. i think people compare him to artest, but ron had much more honor, imo--and was substantially more talented. why punch curry in the stomach after the shot attempt? to make him think about it next time. your team probably should have lost the game, and it's you that should be thinking about these things.

nobody wants to watch basketball played like that.

another thing i'll add is that certain players can play certain roles. like knecht clearly can't just come into games and knock down shots. he's a better shooter than anyone you listed by a mile, but not when we need him to be. guys like ellis have only ever played as a support player on offense. the bonus on guys like jones and ellis (and DFS before them) is that you've seen them excel in the role we need.

though the other thing to consider is that if you're pro-level scouting is good, you can identify these guys BEFORE they become expensive. so maybe agbaji is an example. his offensive numbers look terrible, but toronto doesn't generate the kinds of looks we will. his shooting has been largely terrible, but he shot 40% on 4 3PA per last year, so there's some proof he can do it. trading for him in particular is difficult due to ours and toronto's payroll/cap situation, but this is the right kind of player to target, imo. looks bad on paper right now but could be good here. can be had cheap. this is also why i mention dalen terry a lot.

Enough with the b*******. I’m coming with some fire. Doug Christie needs to be fired. He’s an idiot. My Rams lost and I’m pissed.

Malik Monk got a DNP yeah you heard it DNP.

if I’m Malik Monk I tell my agent you’re fired if you don’t get me outa here. I want to be traded.

let’s stop kicking tires on players we can’t get and get a player we can.

Bring Malik Monk here and figure it the f*** out. Lavine can you waive your 2nd year guaranteed money? How can we get you???

I want everybody. I’ve come to a conclusion that Christie is an idiot. No I’m serious an idiot. The Kings owner is an idiot.

and on a competent team Monk will average almost about 20 points a game and be on the 6th man level. And be in competition for 6th man of the year. Yes this is the kind of trade we need.

get some good bench scoring. The guy can hoop and he’s available. You don’t have to give up a lot. Call Scott Perry. No im not giving a first. Maybe Vincent and Dalton

    that’s about it.

go to Memphis get GG Jackson get Whitmore from Washington. And just start picking players up.

I’m sure Rob’s gonna kick the tires on Klay Thompson. Who gives a f*** about Dallas.

I think he wants to come home to Orange County. And I think he wants to play with Luka.

I’ve come to a conclusion that guys just play like s*** because they want out. Simple as that.

Demar Derozan we should figure something out. Kuzma we should figure something out.

gotta make sure Thiero learns fast.

OKC plays with teams but they give up a lot they can be beat.

Holmgren is the snake gotta figure out who to get around that. All yall talk about Shai but Holmgren is the key. Holmgren is the engine that makes that team run.

as long as we have Ayton making him work and get him in foul trouble we’ll be okay. Ayton is the key. To beat OKC and Holmgren you gotta have a Center that makes him work. Get him out the game then they get exposed. Okay I’m done.

We aren’t a real team until we get a serious back up big. Hayes is incapable of rebounding the ball and he might be the worst in the league at it. You won’t even be able to stick him out there in the postseason.

Yeah absolutely agree. We need to excel in finding those the next 2 to 3 years. I think we saw a glimpse of it by maximizing what was available by signing LaRavia and drafting Thiero.

OKC and San Antonio will be really really good during Luka's prime. That's 2 very good projects where both already have a very good core and have a lot of assets to continue improving. We need to excel in finding absolute gems that can complement Luka/AR, that has to be the focus everyday on the scouting department.
It's good we are in a clear position. We know the 2 stars and we can focus each window to keep improving the rest of the roster knowing exactly the characteristics we need. It's going to be a couple of funny summers

Ron “Malice in the Palace” Artest?
The dude who straight cold cocked BeerdoMcFloppington upside the head with an elbow( which I loved)?
He came a long way from his early career and was great at promoting mental health later on, but he was Wild and Dirty.
As for the talent level, I completely agree- he was much better than current Dilly B.
