I have to say KG looks amazing, considering he's 50 years old.

He’s a cancer to consistent shooting and makes Swaggy P look like a dependable player.
This dude is the epitome of “hot and cold shooter.”
No thanks- maybe after this contract is over on a vet min.

The more I think about it, the more I think it's highly unlikely we trade that 2031 1st during the season. I think the FO wants to let all the expirings (including Lebron) expire so they can try to use the 3 firsts on draft night to trade for Giannis without giving up Austin. By that point, Giannis probably will have indicated whether he's going to sign that extension he's eligible for on October 1st. I think LeBron may have heard that was the plan (basically to treat this year as a transition year), hence why he and Rich Paul put out that weird statement. They may have even been the ones to leak the stuff about the "2026 plan" to guys like Woike last summer.

it was supposedly the 2027 plan, but i never bought that for a second. still not sure it's a plan for giannis, but that being plan A with plan B as utilizing the flexibility does make some sense.

Yeah I don't think we would ever just sit on our hands until 2027, but you want to be able to make the threat that you can just sign Giannis into cap space in 2027 so you can trade for him at a relatively discounted price in 2026.

I don't think this would stop us for trading for someone like Herb before the deadline if that became a real option. Worst case, if we actually do have an opportunity to trade for Giannis on draft night you could just put him in the trade and Milwaukee could either keep him or re-route him somewhere else for another first. But trading a first for someone like Ellis? I'd do it, but I'm starting to doubt the FO would. Same with Wiggins, even if Miami relented and made him available for expirings and a first I don't know that we pull the trigger.

As calculated as Mark Walters was with Ohtani there was a plan to get him. And win World Series. You can’t just win in baseball. It’s hard.

they are calculated they can say why waste capital on a good player that we don’t win a championship with. And save it for a player that we do win a championship with.

    Gianiss

    Reaves

    Luka

    Ayton

    Thiero.

is that possible. I’d sit on the 1st round picks for that.

maybe Pelinka knows San Antonio and OKC don’t want to mess with their core and we have the best team and package for Milwaukee.

even better then New York. I also think Milwaukee doesn’t want to trade him in the conference.

playing with Luka is enticing for Gianiss.

only guy I would go nuts for to trade the capital for is Herbert Jones.

I’m not gonna go crazy with a force of trading capital for good players. I learned my lesson from Buddy Hield and Myles Turner.
