Luka's kinda of a big deal tho, I'm sure any 5 with a pulse, has him high on their list, of prefered potential teammates.

 

Wasn’t a fan of trading for Ayton, but will gladly sign him for cheap on a 1+1 deal. I think losing DFS for nothing is horrible. We really turned our season around after getting rid of d-lo and addng DFS. Vando is NOT a replacement for DFS.
Ayton and Lopez center rotation and add a defensive wing, we are good to go until any in season trades pop up since we will still have picks and dalton/gabe/expiring to deal.

 

Anybody think that Luka would chose Finney-Smith over Ayton? Seriously?

 

It definitely isn’t a bad thing that Luka and Ayton share the same agent especially with the recent news Luka plans on signing with us long term

I just wonder if Ayton is a guy who wants his $ now or is capable of seeing the big picture that include endorsements with the lakers and essentially a short term sacrifice $ wise with us for a long term reward if he plays well with us.

Although ayton for free sounds appetizing, I’d hate to give him any option for second year. Something tells me he’s going to tank after he gets a big fat contract. He doesn’t care for playing basketball other than making money. This could end up being like mozgov/deng level of fail. Doubt he can handle the pressure of being in LA and having to win.

If we lose DFS and sign ayton to the MLE, it sounds like we’d move for Wiggins.

Wow .Ayton who was 1st pick in 2018 season became the first player after Dwight Howard who managed to score on average at least 10 points and 10 rebounds in each of his first seven seasons in the league.

 

You guys must think playing 5 is easy. The kid is 26, and has averaged a double double for his career. There aren't many of those guys available. Finney-Smith's 8pts and 4 rebs can be replaced. It's not like he was on an All defense team or something.
