I think if AR wants to remain in the fabulous situation he is in now playing for the greatest franchise in the league and starting alongside Luka Doncic as his highly valued running mate .... and with this team that is being assembled now ..... for the next 4 years after this season he will take the 32-35M starting salary hometown discount over maybe several million more in a far far less fabulous situation anywhere else.

Reaves should be in line for 150m over 4 years. That's a 32.5m starting wage - and him taking a discount.

 

I do wonder, what if someone offers him the 25% max which is roughly 41m. That's the difference between our 150m for 4 years and 185m over 4 years. I do think he'd stay with us but maybe our offer would be closer to 160m if he is getting interest at the full max.
