i tend to think it's real; almost seems like a media release to try and put pressure on one side or the other.

anyway, i'm still pretty worried about giving up too much for wiggins. the only way it would make sense as rumored is if a) we really don't plan on keeping rui long-term and b) we also don't plan on taking advantage of cap flexibility next summer.

i guess if i knew all that were true, i'd be more open to the move. but knecht AND a 1st on top of it means i need something else coming back.

lol, non-nba fans have no idea who kawhi leonard is. most people in the world know who leonardo dicaprio is. your tree planting company gets a much bigger return on value from the more famous endorser.

That's your opinion, you don't get to decide what some company pays a player for an endorsement. They weren't scamming on producing, a 330M movie either. It was a scam, they weren't interested in some possible return from dicaprio.

anyway, my hot dog stand chose to give all the proceeds of the 50 million dollars worth of dogs i bought from them to a player on the basketball team i own. stay out of my business! i don't know why they suck at managing the hot dog stand! not my problem!

The investment was 62M and they only paid out 21M if that. So the other money was just to be considered a gift?

If Wiggins can become our version of A-ARon Gordon that Denver got( a guy who started focusing more on the defensive end) then I could see it working out for us. For me, this “if” is too large of a gamble.
I’m still very “meh” about him, so I would prefer Rob waits to see what shakes loose later near the trade deadline.

Funny how you didn’t have any problem believing the link that I posted with absolutely no proof even though my opening sentence is “If this is true.” We have no bank records, no employees saying it was circumventing the cap, no contracts paying other A list stars less money.

it's almost as if...critical thinking was secondary...nay...tertiary...to confirming my pre-existing opinion?

not sure how a single argument you've made against the fake hot dog stand holds up. and i get it: you're saying that if you're rich, the fake hot dog stand is ok. i just think that if this was a real person with whom you were competing for resources, you'd be after their throat instead of licking their boots.

Latest from Pablo .... love it, he's like a pit bull that won't let go while the Clippers insult everyone's intelligence.

yeah, these guys need to figure out what torre has before they pop off. he's got more than he's shown still, imo.

and no, he doesn't have steve ballmer's grandmother posing for a photo with steve and kawhi and aspiration's ceo holding a joint check verified in person by a bank manager, all witnessed by the entire supreme court.

but he's got enough, and has had enough the whole time, else he wouldn't have come with anything.

but go on with the defense. it's becoming entertaining.
