Yeah, he's not the answer. Hope we don't go for him, don't like the fit. Maybe after Bron can make a bit more sense

I like Patrick Williams as a guy who doesn’t care about his scoring. We need a young wing like that. Who’s just going to play defense. We can off set scoring. We need hard nosed perimeter defense.

Listened to Eddie House. This is a C bag from the C bag side.

ironically everybodys been haiting on this signing except Eddie says he’s a double double.

Rob Parker what about the checkered reputation. Why 3 teams.

Eddie House. He’s a double double.

mind you house played in the league.

Eddie House says do you know how hard it is to get a double double in this league.

    that man is 17-10

On a bad night he’s 16-10. Since he been in the league he’s a walking double double. That’s hard to do.

Anybody can hide scoring mix up scoring but he pulling down rebounds. It’s hard to rebound and board in this league.

This a new leaf for him new point in his career. He can only turn it around. I like it. Dude can ball.

I’ll give you that. He messed around. But that production.

this was all Eddie House. Not expecting to hear this from him. Said he knew him from the prep scene in Phoenix and he went to university of Arizona.

apparently didn’t know but Aytons mentor is Shaq. Said he knows his Son.

Ayton was my top trade target, we got him on the cheap, without giving up any assets. We can be selective about our next moves.

Simons is one of the worst defensive player in the league.
Like he's bottom 5 for a lot of defensive stats and ratings and grades.
    Terrific.

20 and 5 at 26 years old? Somebody is going to bite, everybody doesn't care about defense.

i don't understand the wiggins interest. i'd argue that he's actually a really similar player to barrett, and we don't really need either.

now, if rob and cronin are tight (which, where's the evidence?), thybulle is definitely a guy who can help us. like, tailor-made, imo. bit concerned about the ankle injury that kept him out most of last year, but people want melton, who's been injured just as often or more and isn't the defender thybulle is.

i just wonder what it would take to make that trade. would portland take knecht/vando? because we don't have 2nds, and i wouldn't pay a first to trade an expiring for thybulle right now.

you think? maybe a lotto team lacking scoring punch? but who is that?

anyway, if we don't end up with melton, gpII, or thybulle, do we go dumpster diving or just hope goodwin keeps improving? i think okogie's still a FA, and he's been a pretty consistently good defensive guard.

has this situation resolved in memphis?

cole anthony (he's been steadily improving on defense) or even our old friend lil pip could help here, and they just signed ty jerome, so both guys are slotted as 3rd stringers right now. either would be better than gabe, i think.

Yeah that was an interesting piece in there. They talk a lot, I've read reports that Cronin is one of the execs he talks to the most. There was a lot of photos of them at last year's summer league. Irwin (I know) has also mentioned how much they talk to each other. BUT talking a lot and playing Let's Make A Deal are quite different. They hold their guys at absurd asks and often don't realize their true value until it's too late and they're selling them as penny stocks or buying them out.

If they weren't in on Vando in an Ayton deal, I'm doubtful they would be for Thybulle.

I really hope we avoid trading for Wiggins. He isn’t that good and I would be concerned that he doesn’t have the mamba mentality in game situations

The Wiggins from the Warriors' last title year is an excellent player; in many ways, he's a very useful player in absolute terms.

And I also really liked him in his post-trade version.
    Overall, he's a great player.

But then the fit with our team comes into play: what's the point?
Okay, you always find a way to put a player capable of being useful on offense, defense, and rebounding.
But to get him, we'd have to give away our last remaining assets, and we have a much bigger need elsewhere.

The point is having a wing that is a 3 instead of a 4, who can guard 2s and occasionally bigger 1s. No one in our team does that and Wiggins would slot seamlessly.

Luka, AR, Wiggins, Bron and Ayton is a great starting 5. Better than with Rui
