Well last year's OKC and this year's GSW are going to be on a different tier of luxury tax. We're talking 4 max players on the same team.
Yes, but the Pelicans need to realize they aren't always going to have their leverage. That's why they need to act now before AD/Klutch pulls out...
They'll have to pay a luxury tax of approximately $200M next year for Klay Thompson alone. Let that sink in for a second. Rich people don't like...
He's not staying.
Because they're already deep into luxury tax and Klay is looking to get paid double his current salary. It's not sustainable. KD is likely to go...
Well Draymond's contract isn't up until next year. The Klay/KD decision would have to be made this summer.
You do realize that it's unlikely they resign both KD and Klay right? Lebron + Kawhi + our kids vs Curry + Klay + Draymond
Yeah, it would be a mistake for the Pelicans to drag this out. If Kyrie walks on the C Bags, there's no way in hell they offer Tatum. AD won't...
I can't imagine a scenario where we'd be more desperate having Lebron + Kawhi plus our kids moving forward. Davis would be a luxury and not a...
Why are the Pelicans assuming that our offer will still be there on July 1st and we'd bid against the C Bags? What if we sign Kawhi, KD or Klay?...
What they lack is depth. They might even win more games with that roster. I'm hoping they ask for our 2 best (perceived) assets in Kuzma and...
Their 3 best remaining players are: PG/SG: Holiday SF: PF: Mirotic C: Randle Ingram would fit their need the most. A long defensive wing. Ball...
I'd like to keep Lonzo if possible, but for AD whatever it takes.... .... including LeBron :D
Read my post again. I said the previous management was better at trades. (perhaps some confusion with the way I phrased former/latter) Mitch...
What I can take away from current management vs previous is that the former is better at signing FA's and the latter is better at making trades.
Technically we can still get him back this summer. Same with Randle. I'm keeping a close eye.
We can't be certain that Lebron would have signed if we had less flexibility.
Lebron's camp :wasntme: why don't you worry about getting back on the court first?
Even in hindsight I wouldn't pull that trade. Ball and Ingram are still babies, only a year older. I would have traded Kuz and retained Julius...
Yeah, this is precisely the reason why I preferred PG/Randle over Lebron, but it is what it is.
