If they just come down to reality for Russ and ONE pick it should be a done deal.
Or just trade Westbrook for good pieces to fit the roster. Nunn Reaves back court is the dream! Both are better fits for us than Russ right now.
JTA looked quite a bit better tonight.
Russ hasn’t looked so good so far. Still just not a great fit.
Nice to see Huff play some tonight even if it was garbage time.
Loved Lebron’s blocks most of all tonight. Plus his rapport with Reaves.
Nunn can flat out score. Great to finally see him out there and playing well. I like the two man game developing with Nunn and Jones.
Austin Reaves was EVERYWHERE tonight. Stuffing the stat sheet with nifty passes, getting steals in the passing lanes, knocking down floaters and...
I would have done that deal for one pick for sure.
You said it a lot more eloquently than I JSM! Agree 100%.
Fair points. I’m higher on those guys than you are. I actually preferred a Utah trade but nothing came together.

I wouldn't mind either. But I like Melo.
He's got talent, I'll grant that. Nice find by the scouts.
I agree that having your stars healthy is the most important ingredient but the team has to be good as well to have success. I'm just not buying...
I definitely feel like it was unnecessary to include Stan. And I don't feel like trading for Beverly makes any sense at all unless we are moving...
I understand not wanting to mortgage the future and obviously the younger Busses in charge of scouting share some of your thoughts Cookie as they...
Nunn’s game fits well with Lebron and AD. Schroder not so much as we’ve seen. He’s best used as a sixth man off the bunch running an offense.
I'd rather take the risk on Turner and Hield than stick with Russ at this point. Even with the admitted overpay. But that's just where I'm at....
Move him now. Just pull the trigger on the Indy deal. That’s just where I’m at. Not worth wasting more time on this.
