The whole Queen thing is absurd.
They trade a 1st to move up for him. Then bench him in a tanking year for Zion after Queen starting to play well. And then keep Missi for no reason and don't "sell high" on him.
It's like everytime they have 2 options, they choose the bad one

But yeah they had injuries happening from all angles.
Zion played like 72 games last year and is on a contract year. Dejounte had a bad injury but should start healthy. Maybe this is the year lol
And yeah Poole is not a winning basketball player. One of those guys

I could see some sense on them trying to be competitive (I think they don't have the pick again) to up their guys value and try to sell high on them by the deadline

He mention Rondo for that and Bron for the work ethic as the players he played with. I liked those answers

he actually seemed to be talking more about lebron's off court interests as i read it. like, that you can pursue business interests AND play at a high level if you're squared away.

like harden, my belief is that they pre-negotiated two contracts--one if they landed lebron, one if not. and they're probably for the same rough amount of money, just one starts lower and goes an extra year.

He's getting zero votes for executive of the year this year, unless he's running as a nominee for the 6ers.

    - refused to give up spare parts for Giannis.
    - made the heat better.
    - sent Brown out the door after fumbling that trade negotiation.
    - traded him to a team in their division
    - had to take back PG1.3
    - only other additions were Robinson and Conley's corpse (who i like depending on role and ask but when Brown goes out the door and that's all you're bringing in... just no)
    - his actions made Bron want to go to Philly.

sounds like the arrangement was that he'd take a cut for bron; otherwise, they just act as if he picked up the option.

interesting that they didn't just sign a longer deal at lower money. sort of telling, too. like...they may be in a lebron situation next summer.

if things go like i'm expecting in gs, green will be traded by the deadline.

yeah, i'm giving stevens some benefit of the doubt, but it doesn't look great right now.

to me, i'm not sure i understand moving off brown without getting a prospect back. like, keep the firsts and give me edgecombe.

to trade an all-nba guy within division is just super ballsy. you're betting big that he was a product of your system and/or wasn't worth the money. and maybe brown wasn't worth 60 per, but if he's worth 50 and is paid 60, i'm not sure you bother.

once his name was available for giannis, just get it done, man.
