He’s frustrating as well, but he had a great series overall. I don’t know what to think going forward, like he’s worth his contract and more, but I still don’t know that he’s the guy for this team, he and Luka never seemed to build the chemistry, so who knows. Who knows if he’ll opt in or try for more money elsewhere or from us as well. Good mentality at the moment though

Great job on the boards and even better job shutting down Mr Dirty Elbows.
We will need this kind of effort, with added scoring, to beat OKC.

HUGE series for Ayton next. If he plays well, he gets paid.

He's going to have to defend in multiple ways; firstly, I think he starts on Hartenstein - who averages around 24 mins a game. He's going to have to get him off the offensive rebounds (Hart averages 4-5 a game) while beating him in the PNR. Secondly, when Hart sits, he is going to have to guard one of Chet who's more comfortable on the perimeter. Lastly, they're going to make him switch out onto the perimeter, he's shown he can guard there, he just has to contest against SGA and Ajay Mitchell without fouling, just make it difficult for them in the paint without fouling.

We need him to average 10+ rebounds, take iHart out of the game and be able to switch.

Offensively I think he'll have a decent series, it could be great if he keeps offensively rebounding.

Maybe our most important player from the point of view of how much he can swing the series in our favour if he is at the top of his game.

I feel like Jax, due to his better speed, will get more burn this series.
However, I don’t think he’s defensively smart enough to handle what OKC will be doing.
It’s up to Ayton to play the best series(defensively) of his life so we have a chance. Our switching defensively as a team will also have to be on point every single game.

I think he may opt out. The market for Centers is very thin
