No. Don't you give me hope and then take it away.

Now watch Kennard shoot 22% from 3.

Slow on the draw there Sirron. Gabe’s thread was moved to the NBA discussion 10 minutes after he was traded. The highlight of my week.

    1. if lebron is the one that got him moved, he has now atoned for 5% of the westbrook damage.
    2. read that jj said gabe was "good player, better person", and i was thinking about how much the human element plays into stuff, even in pro sports. like...i can't bench gabe...that guy's super cool! i was going to ask him to be the godfather of my children whether he can finish a fastbreak layup or not!

well, if you look at his best games with miami (and occasionally here), they did happen when he was more involved on offense.

now, you're going to lose games that way, but gabe will look good!

Yeah. But ******* social media .... nothing can be posted without people doing what they do best .... hating on it for clicks. ******* Screamin' A Smith made a sorry a** high paid career of it on Network TV and then came all the crap spawned from it.

I think professionalism is code word for listening to JJ while some of the others just blow him off.

If that tweet from Gabe is actually real and not just AI, he needs to drug tested immediately. Guy sucked, like sucky sucked I’d say sucked again but there’s a limit on how many times you can use the same word in a paragraph. Sorry @LTLakerFan but the guy was horrible.

REALLY want to see the context of "about time". i could see that meaning very different things depending on the conversation preceding the statement. the rest of the quote is totally reasonable to me, and it's what i responded to.

to the extent that gabe has ever been good, he was actually tasked with MORE than what we gave him to do.

one of the reasons i liked us signing him instead of schroder that year was that schroder has the same problem--he looks best when he's got the ball. problem is that his teams suck in those circumstances. this is why dennis is on his 58th team in 7 years or whatever.

turns out, gabe was the same. i was wrong. i thought he could be a derek fisher type, low usage, reliable if untalented, not scared of the moment. and all that may be true, but he couldn't make the low usage part work--which is actually hard!

atlanta's big playmaker now is a forward, so there may be space for gabe to do what he thinks he does best. we'll see.

i know everyone on the team and coaching staff will love him regardless, though, lol.

and in that case, he's like another erstwhile laker (westbrook).
