Yes, I forgot to mention, Lebron decides to take the vet minimum for players with 25 years of experience. Cherry on top I say.

 

You know what would be even better?

hear me out: Lebron says he’s going to retire at the end of the year, so all the teams decide to do awesome going away videos and tributes, give him awesome gifts, and really roll out the red carpet for him like the GOAT he is.

But then, he has a strong finish to the year, and wrestles all off-season with quitting when he still clearly loves the game, the grind, and being around the guys.

he unretires and comes back! But this time he says up front this will be his last year. Teams roll out the red carpet again, do more video tributes, and praise him for the king he is.

he repeats this process for 3 more years. Other team fans grow tired of his flip flopping and not making up his mind, but Laker fans like us love it all, see the cool gifts, and wouldn’t blame him if he changed his mind again. Sure the tires are bald and there’s no D, but at least once a game there’s a great pass/assist and a key flop, and fans feel nostalgic while he puts the the All Time points and TO’s records completely out of reach.

it will be a glorious ride, and we’re going to milk these ticket sales for all their worth.

Luka isn’t playing well but I think the issue is that LeBron still has a big impact on the tone of the team even if it isn’t his team anymore.

There’s plenty of bad to go around right now from the players to coaches but he and Luka both gotta step up.
