I guess the rumours of his demise were greatly exaggerated.

    Thanks for the win Bron!

After having two games to start the month where he looked terrible against the Suns and Raptors then to rebound like this. BIG TIME!

He had bounce, pop, lift, and speed offensively that he hasn't been able to dial up previously this season. The shot was locked in. He was able to get down hill and freight train past their lineup.

We needed this one after AR had nothing left in the legs.

Maybe Kang isn't done just yet.

I think he's going to need a lot of "rest". Pretty crazy when I see that he's out for "foot arthritis", though. Like geez. LOL.

Rich Paul had some thoughts today (or whenever it was recorded)

As constructed today, he's not wrong. Just odd to go on this kind interview right now.

you love miami, rich? get your a** back there and finish 6th in the east like they do every year.

but they do it with a championship mindset, so. great job, i guess.

So this is going to be a continuous podcast between the two. How long until Rich says something that gets him in a lot of trouble?

I couldn’t care less about what Mr. Paul thinks about my team.

    i mean, he's not wrong

this team currently isn't good enough defensively to make a deep run. and i don't see anyone beating okc anyways

Yeah. OKC is currently on pace to shatter the Warriors' record. You play now with the chance that SGA gets hurt.

They won 68 games and had a huge net rating last year too, but still played two 7 game series in the playoffs. They'll probably beat both of those regular season metrics this year, but the teams at the top of the West are better than last year. They're an incredible team, but I don't think they're unbeatable. I think they've just mastered regular season basketball in this era with depth, athleticism, and two-way versatility.

It’s a bad look. We all know this roster needs tweaking. It’s not his place to say publicly. Plus it hurts any potential trades the Lakers make. If you don’t wanna be in LA after this season, peace out.

Rich Paul has no shame . Going along with the idea of Reaves coming off the bench so his client can put up big numbers again and get another huge extension .

Yes they are 10-11 deep so they blow a lot of teams out and barely lose against bad to average teams whereas playoffs is all bout your top 6-7 guys.

Not getting many reps in clutch games in the regular season isn't ideal too

yeah, this was a better way of making my point. he's obviously associated with the team and seen as a mouthpiece for lebron; he needs to just not comment on the lakers unless it's positive. would he be happy if say, rob came out in june about a klutch client that played for us having deficiencies that we were hoping to upgrade upon?

i just have massive rich paul/lebron front office pressure fatigue. spare me the next westbrook/derozan campaign, dip*****.

LOL. I agree w/Rich on this team actually; don't trust the regular season wins, but they are important for positioning for PO's & building chemistry. Also, who the hell we benching Austin for? ROFL. If anything, the elephant in the room is LBJ is likely gone this year (Irleand thinks so, too), and we can rebuild the team once his old a** is off the books arouond Luka.

it's ok for us to say these things; not ok for rich paul. just like it wasn't ok for lebron to say that stuff in the summer.

i don't know that lebron's gone after this year. his max contract is gone. how he handles that emotionally is up to him and rich.

we have about 50 games to evaluate him and see if he can contribute to a top-level contender.

luka and austin may just need more help. maybe bill duffy will make that clear via passive aggressive press releases, as is the ancient custom.
