Hope it's minor injury: can't afford to be down Smart when both Lebron and Luka are also out. It's a huge difference when he's available jsut to have another tough defender who can be a ballhandler/PG.
Looked as though he was walking funny when he came back in at the end of the game. Hopefully ice does the trick. Otherwise Bronny might be playing 48 minutes tomorrow
Definitely better news than what clearly looked like a knee issue during the game. Figured they'd be cautious with him after the kid gloves used in training camp and pre season. I don't blame them given his injuries the past couple years.
I "think" if he's playing the 2 & Vando at the 5, and he passable at the 3 point line, it ***might*** work. I need a bigger sample size, but I like the stuff we can do defensively with them on the court.
Yeah. I think JJ needs a bit more time to know what he’s got to work with but early returns are good. We are off to a great start given that we don’t have LeBron.
