glad for goodwin. he played too well to be cut, and it would have sucked if we cut him too late for him to get a roster spot.

this will obviously be something we watch this year.

Did he get a roster spot or a 2-way again?

Edit: The Suns signed him to a one-year, $2.3 million deal with only $25,000 guaranteed, the rest becoming protected if he's not waived by January 7th

wouldn't it be ironic is Goodwin has the season we hope Smart has and vice versa, and we are left with deep feelings of regret?

Hope the best for the young man, but hope more for us.

Yeah. I have some serious FOMO about Goodwin and Melton. I just hope Smart lives up to his potential/previous ability. Bronny too, someday. I like him and am optimistic, but would have kept Goodwin over him.

A backup backcourt of Smart and Goodwin would've given teams hell.

    Smart
    Goodwin
    Rui
    Vando
    ?

You would need a C with a little more range than Jax. Dallas version of Maxi.

Oh well. At least we have Gabe.
