F****** Brown and especially Reaves (in place of one of the midgets in starting lineup) can both shoot some from outside as much as these two guys and put the ball on the floor either getting to the basket with a pick or opening OR make some kind of play in there plus add SIZE with their defense.
didnt think I had too seeing as how AD been in street clothes for the last month or so but ok my fault for not being more precise also i didn’t imply potato head with bron, I didnt specify so i was wrong, i meant potatoe head playing kobe into the ground for the team to have a shot at winning as a laker HC
lol, man, that choice of phrasing is going to haunt him when lebron injures a groin or hamstring later in the year (and he was going to no matter what, btw).
If he's this obsessed with playing the small guards, please bring up Pip Jr. He is 10x the NBA player that Nunn is. Send Nunn home. We got the proof of life game against Miami, we don't need to see him again until he's traded. At some point Hammy will realize you can't play all these dwarfs at once. I'm glad we're finally seeing more JTA and Brown (terrible timing on the injury), but he clearly prefers relying on these small not so skilled guards. Need better lineups from him.
not to defend nunn, he's been horrible. but he'd dominate the g-league to the tune of a 40ppg avg, imo. small guards do much better there than in the big league. pip has looked pretty outmatched against real nba players every time i've seen him. and ham needs to play his bigger guys, but again, to be fair, JTA's missed half of the season to date, which limited some options there. i'm curious to see if sterling brown gets immediate burn. he's probably familiar with ham's system on both ends, at least to some degree (more than troy brown, apparently?). and he's fighting for his nba life. he helps us win a couple games, and everyone will see it.
Nunn's issues are as much mental as they are physical at this point. He has no confidence and is afraid of his own shadow. That doesn't change regardless of competition. Pip at least has confidence and has familial NBA genetics. I'll take that over what Nunn fails to do every time Ham forgets that Nunn is done. Honestly, any time he puts Nunn in over Christie, Handy should slap him across the face. Even with the injuries to JTA and Brown, there's no excuse to have him as an activated player. Christie is better at every facet of the game than Nunn. Sterling K Brown could have that early burst out of the gate that Gabriel had because of familiarity with the system.
Sterling Brown will play for sure, since we're missing so many guys. He should not have too much trouble fitting in. Let's hope he can actually hit some outside shots. Re: Nunn -- he can regain that confidence. Just not in LA. He needs a change of scenery for sure.
We've seen your lineups. Also should we tell him that it comes complete when you buy it? That doesn't count as solving it.
Maybe he solves it the way I used to solve rubik's cubes, by taking it apart and putting it back together.
I’m confused what Ham is supposed to do about the small-ball lineups when AD, Jones, Walker, Reaves, and Brown are all hurt, and Gabriel was in foul trouble most of the game. There literally weren’t any bigger players available on the roster to play lol Should he have played Bryant more (even though he did play 34 minutes and looked winded at moments during the end)? Played JTA more even though he wasn’t playing great? Don’t get me wrong, there have been moments this season where the small ball lineups were baffling and seemed unnecessary, but currently I think Ham’s hands are tied due to our injuries
If you can score you can win. That will allow you to survive for stretches during the season. That's all Sacramento is doing.
