yes. lonnie being out doesn't help, either. but i agree that nunn getting in ahead of christie can't be based on any sane observation of their in-game performances.
“Short player fetish” probably wasn’t even something imagined should be checked on by the FO in their DD on the hiring. LOL … this has to be driving Kurt crazy with his meddling muzzle on …. considering he was such a hater of Vogel’s smaller lineups that Rambo wanted “DJ Useless” back in the starting lineup.
I don't care how we win, Lebron James is an All Time great for a reason. We've beaten good teams, bad teams and so so teams. A win is a win.I want my coins earned, great job Lebron...keep it up!!
He needs to keep Schroeder in when Lebron sits. Every Lakers board hates the dude but he's a competent PnR ball handler and you need him and Reaves in there when Lebron sits to keep some ability to threaten the defense off the bounce
We just need someone that can generate points with Lebron on the bench. Dennis, Reaves, Walker, Russ, or Bryant, it doesn't really matter. It's most likely not going to come from Bev, Brown, or Gabriel.
You don’t care about our defense when we have capable bigger players who can score the ball besides starting the two midgets?
Nobody is playing any defense in the NBA right now man. Are you watching these games? Lebron needs consistent scoring help more than anything for these next 5-6 games. Bigger, smaller, whoever can get it done.
Schroder has been pretty solid I don't get the hate especially since he's on a vet min. He's Westbrook with worse passing and rebounding but better shooting, more efficient scoring, and a bit better defense. All for 45 mil less a year..
I don’t hate him, I just don’t trust him because he’s wildly inconsistent and never makes anyone around himself better. He actually tried on defense through his first stint with us and now he barely bothers with it. He can get to the hoop still with his speed. Yay!
He ain't great by any means but for the vet min I can't really complain. 11ppg, 4 assists on 55.7% TS. His defense has always been poor due to his size but he can be hidden better with a bigger lineup. His ideal role would be off the bench in place of Russ. Hopefully we can trade Russ by the deadline and insert him there.
Maybe I’m forgetting but Dennis seems to be hitting more Js and from 3 than he did his first time around?
Pretty much identical percentages as his first go round. 43.7% from the field and 33.8% from three which are ironically enough his career averages. He stays consistent at least. His fts are up from 85% to around 90% which is great cause this team needs all the clutch ft shooting it can get.
Yeah well I ain't crying any crocodile tears for Lebron. He isn't some disabled senior citizen. This is why he demanded top dollar for his extension, ride on.
There are some far more ideal lineups in here if Ham is willing to go to them: Start Walker/Reaves/Bevs - this allows both Walker and Reaves to initiate offense. Off the bench you can bring in Schroeder/Russ/Brown. Schroeder makes a lot of sense as backup PG who can create off the PnRI and he's played with Russ. I absolutely see no need for Schroeder/Bevs or Bevs/Nunn or god forbid Russ/Schroeder/Bevs lineups
yeah, it's hard to believe we have yet to see a walker/bev/brown 1/2/3 starting combination. seems like it's at least worth a try. i mean, we've tried 4-guard lineups before this!
How do we stumble upon these moron coaches? Do we not have a sort of a coach scouting department or some such?
Guys like Cranjiss believe he's going with individual metrics but that's assinine in this case as basketball is a 5 man sport: a guy can be relatively bad in his position but make it easier for others around him. A guy like Brown isn't going to fill the box score just having size on the glass on defense and the fact you have to at least guard him on defense makes it easier for his teammates
