I’m over seeing the Russell thread on here. He can’t play the way he needs to with us and it’s just making things worse for all parties.

It would be good to find a trade where we don’t send any draft picks out.

How about sending him to LAC? Maybe for Kawhi (who has played 2 of the last 88 games). Salaries match, and each has one year left. LAL gets a guy who will sit solemnly behind the bench all year and gets rid of guy who's at best a distraction; and LAC gets a guy who will actually play some form of basketball. Both teams will show instant improvement.

Yes. I would be willing to take a gamble on Kawhi and his injuries straight up for Russ.

I would also fly to LA to personally apologize to the front office for doubting them.

The FO has been doing good not to destroy our future in a panic move. I hope they don't do it now. Bench him and give us five games to see how we play at least. We would likely be 1-2 without him and maybe even 2-1.

Well then, we might as well just sit Russ down, because the effect would be exactly the same. It saves the FO some time, because they would not have to complete the paperwork or anything.

It may not guarantee a win but I’m looking forward to a more fluid offensive game from the Lakers

Yeah let’s see how we play with him out. Finally pulling the trigger on one of the packages with both FRPs could be a potentially disastrous panic move.

But if there was a trade out there that only involved one FRP or the main consequence was long term salary (ie Rozier), I would thoroughly consider it.

There goes the neighborhood. That explains all the bricks early this season.

That is about the LAST thing I would expect to read considering what has been going on since a month or more prior to the deadline last year and (**** those picks).

Looking forward to seeing what we can do without Russ gumming up the works.

I can’t wait for this game, I haven’t been this excited for a Laker game since before last preseason before we actually saw what Russ looked like in a Lakers jersey. To finally have a game where I don’t have to watch him, where his teammates don’t have to cater to him, so freeing, I’m actually excited to tune in.

    Same, can't wait!

Will we get Nunn in the lineup? Or Reaves? It's an interesting call that Ham has to make.

It’s happening. And off the bench is only one step away from benched, and/or go home when his hamstrings suddenly tighten and his back locks up and he had prideacitis.
