I don't think LeBron is wrong, but what can the Cavaliers do about it? Unless they can acquire Davis, Westbrook, or Kawhi, there is nothing they can do to match what Golden State did with signing KD.
What I think is LeBron knows he's getting older and the window of opportunity starts to get smaller, so he probably just wants to stack rings while he's still in his prime. He can still get a triple double any time he wants but I think he's knows the window is closing. He's not as fast and explosive as he used to be, so that carrying a team thing is no longer an option. But it's amazing to me how coddled he is, that's the irritating part about it.
Charles Barkley went off on Lebron last night during the pregame show. And I agreed with everything he said, especially the willingness to compete. The greats never wanted it to be easy.
sort of veering off topic: i wonder how annoyed lebron is seeing westbrook and harden piling up crazy stats and knowing he's got no shot at the mvp. again, i'm risking sounding like a lebron fanboy, but he's the mvp, much like during pretty much every year of shaq's prime, he was the mvp. i bet it kills a guy who wears a "check my stats" shirt to see inferior players putting up bigger numbers and garnering more headlines. this combined with the possibility of a realy gsw jugglerknot would annoy the crap out of me in this situation. that is, if i were big enough puss to have tried to (twice) position myself with an insurmountable competitive advantage....
I've always liked Chuck..... wait... They should trade for Rondo, he's a vet and has championship experience lol
"Respected the game." Flops like a fish out of water. Complains to the ref. Walks to the bench when the game is still going on.
Lol, never seen a more insecure superstar, gigantic baby. Barkley didn't really get personal, worst he said was LeBron was whiny and already has a great team and that asking for all these players makes it look like he doesn't want to compete and that he wants it easy. I would agree with Barkley on most of that. LeBron got very personal here, and now Barkley can too if he wants, so good luck to LeBron with that ha ha. I'm enjoying seeing the Cavs lose so much right now and LeBron snapping at people left and right though. It won't last, they'll be in the Finals, but for the moment it's fun.
I probably like LBJ less than anyone here, but I will give the man props for what he says here. He kept his stuff straight off the court, stayed in shape (*cough*superjuice*cough*), and has had himself a great career.
