Kobe complained about a team with Smush and Kwame in a stacked West. Lebron complains about a team with Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving, Tristan Thompson, JR Smith, Kyle Korver, in the LEastern Conference.
And Kobe didn't complain until after 2 first round exits to the Suns while carrying an awful team in his absolute prime. At that point I can excuse saying "do something and do it now", because as we saw, when he had any kind of decent roster he went to the Finals immediately 3 times in a row. That awful roster cost him seasons of his career and MVP awards.
What's the biggest difference between Kobe and Jordan? Kobe had scrubs on his team in his prime, whereas Jordan had Hall of Famer's next to him in his prime. We saw Jordan at his best in the Finals. Kobe's prime years consisted of fellow starters Smush, Luke, Mihm and Kwame. FFS!
unbelievable at this rate he'll only be satisfied if he can get '06 Nash, '87 MJ, '06 Kobe, and '00 Shaq on the cavs actually, why doesn't the NBA just become Eastern Conference vs Western Conference? i mean, it's already a two team league as it is. this way lebron can have a whole bunch of players to choose from
James is supposed to be the catalyst of the team with Irving as his go-to guy to create shots. Love is a solid complementary piece while the others do the grunt work. Where James go, they go. Their hitting the mid-season doldrums frustrating him. Doesn't matter, Cleveland will again be in The Finals barring a catastrophe.
Reports are that Cleveland shot down a Melo for Love trade. I know Melo can't play defense, but it's not like Love does either. If nothing else, it would be interesting.
I wouldn't be surprised if he takes a week vacation like that one time. What's annoying is all these media heads saying if Lebron wants something, Dan Gilbert should say yes.
Forgot to add to that post but don't(doesn't?) the media realize that that has been happening this whole time. Lebron got TT that huge payday that he probably didn't deserve. Trading Wiggins too.
