Conspiracy theory: ESPN knows LeBron is about to leave for the Lakers and they're getting ready to hate him now so that they can get used to it.
Oh thank god I thought this would never happen. Way to build your own legend LeBron. Just like Howard ripping off Shaq's Superman schtick in the league. 'Space Jam 2,' starring LeBron James, might really be on the way https://www.yahoo.com/sports/blogs/...es--might-really-be-on-the-way-183404545.html
Yeah, no thanks. Not like Michael Jordan was a good actor or anything, but he has an appeal. LeBron holds no appeal to me, he's boring, there are more interesting well known players that would be better in the role. I know some people liked LeBron in "Trainwreck", but while I loved that movie, I thought he was the worst part of it. So not natural at all, he maybe made me laugh once. After seeing Kobe in recent stuff like the commercial with Michael B Jordan, I found myself wishing it was him in that role instead of LeBron, but then again that could be my Laker bias. LeBron's acting sucking is not bias though. He's more believable in his Kia commercials.
LeBron in Space Jam 2 actually makes me mad. Him being in it actually makes no sense. He's not making any sort of "comeback". He's still in the league and is still a top 3 player. They should have put a different twist on it and casted Kobe instead....with LeBron, D-Wade, Cp3, Melo and Anthony Davis as the MONSTARS.
Wouldn't Kobe be a more logical choice for Space Jam 2? I don't understand what they're trying to do here? Are they still trying to make him Jordan's equal when it just never happened? I don't think they need a Space Jam 2 at all, just let the original stand on it's own. That movie s legendary with the most legendary basketball player in it, just leave it alone.
Does anybody even want Space Jam 2 to happen? And with LeBron? If anything, LeBron feels more like the villain. He should be a part of the monstars squad, and he has the body of a monstar. Lol. I think kids can probably relate to Steph more than LeBron. The original ended with Jordan's ridiculous arm-stretching dunk. The sequel can end with Steph's ridiculous galaxy-spanning long range shot or something. Not sure what LeBron can bring to the table...except tackling people down...which, once again, sounds like a monstar. Lol.
LeBron in Space Jam 2? Well we know he can't win by himself. Guess in addition to the Looney Toons he'll have to call up Wade and Bosh to come bail him out.
I don't recommend it at this point. Unless you have an emotional attachment to the movie, it's objectively terrible.
