What LBJ is doing at 41 is crazy, but man would I have loved to see a 31 year old LBJ matched up with Luka. The lift, the explosion, the handle; that LBJ makes us a championship team.

This one? Not so much, but he's much older and can still be effective. :(. All good.

I hate AI so god damn much man. Anyway, glad Bron saved the franchise when he joined, we were headed nowhere, but it’s time, I’m ready to see him go elsewhere for his retirement tour, we cannot win with him, Luka, and Reaves in the same lineup, they cannot play the level of defense necessary to compete.

    He can't play off-ball.

Now he can't even shoot the three ball.

His defense is pretty cyclical. He either wants to play it when he's motivated or he'll just strut around the court making that dumb face blaming others when it was his defensive assignment.

I love LeBron but the one thing he needed to do this offseason to 'make it work' like he said he could do was to become more like Draymond but with better shooting. He hasn't done that and is the same player.

People will point to his USG% rate but that's pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things because it's the fact that he's just standing around in offense waiting for the ball that makes him a bad fit. It'd be a different story if he was out there battling for offensive rebounds (career low) or knocking down wide open 3's.

If he wants to be the same player he has been his entire career, he should have found a way to get to the Warriors... Lakers would have tried to make it work, IMO, because it was quite obvious by midseason that the fit wasn't the best and then Rich Paul/LeBron being cryptic surely doesn't help.

yep. not sure it will go much better in cleveland, either, as they need him to play the same role he's not playing here.

It would work for the Warriors. Steph would rather play off-ball, Butler doesn't really care and just wants to win, Draymond would much prefer to just play defense and do the dirty work as well.

He wouldn't be fighting anyone for possessions. If he wants the ball, he'll get it just cause the system would work for it.

i agree. i just don't think lebron wants to play for the warriors. if he did he could have made it happen a couple times now, imo.

i think he wanted us to empty the chamber for some over-30 guy to make a push this year, and when we didn't, he fully gave up on the season. which i suppose is logical, but it sucks for the fans and your teammates.

now he's obviously shooting for the storybook final season back at home, playing a discount (maybe even coming off the bench like he should be here), and contending for a ring (i think there's a good chance they implode, too, for similar reasons).

starting to be some westbrook parallels. not as bad, but similar reluctance to adjust game and expectations that has unintended consequences for everyone else.

I think the obvious move is for him to head back to Cleveland. I think going back "home" for a final year at less money is the kind of PR move he'd go for.

This season, LeBron James makes 29.9% of his 3 points shots with an average of 4.6 attempts per game.

Scott also said, “I think this should be his last year here [Los Angeles].” Once Scott clarified he doesn’t mean James should retire, he jokes, “You don't have to go home, but got to get the hell out of here.”

We were hoping for a better shooting Draymond, but honestly we probably would be a title contender if he had Draymond instead of Bron right now.
