Lol..I wouldn't expect the oldest player in the league, to be leading the team in sustainable energy. That's frankly unrealistic.expectations

you wouldn't expect the oldest player in the league to be among the very highest paid, either. but reality persists.

No one said leading the team, but you can’t be calling the team out when you’re part of the problem with sustaining energy.

He's 41 years old and absolutely has the right to call out these young bucks, what are you talking about?

So? That doesn't have anything to do with it. Cap got paid at 40 too...Nobody was talking about how critical, his energy level was to the team’s success. We have a bunch of young guys playing with low energy sometimes.

The energy was much better before LeBron came back

You just like hating on James. He doesn't have anything to do, with a guy in his twenties energy level brother. I'm going to reject that hypothesis.

The amount of slack (or should I say slick) Bron gets from some fans amazes me. EVERYTHING is about how much money a player makes. It’s the reason I’m ok with Ayton at 8 but not 20 million. It’s about value on their contract if you can only play a half of game at full speed, you should get paid a salary that reflects that.

He wasn't lying, JJ has s***ted on them frequently this season too. Maybe we will see more fire tonight.

That's nonsense that man is 41 years old. I expect more energy from the young guys..That's life, the money has nothing to do with it Cookie. Cap was our second highest player at the end, we didn't expect him to be sprinting down the floor on every possession..or at all. If he was 28 it would be a different story.

Lebron should shove Lou Dort next time he grabs his jersey or push him the next time they trip AR- since it's out of character for him I do think him standing up to the refs would carry weight.

I know I’m wasting my time but it does make a difference because of what kind of players we could get with his salary. I think EVERYONE should be hustling regardless of their salary but expectations definitely are higher with higher salary players. That’s just the way it is.

He literally said "We can't sustain energy and effort for 48 minutes". We, including him. I don't see why anyone has an issue with this.

I get it, a lot of folks here just don't like LeBron. Which is fine, he can be pretty annoying and he's not the same player he was even a year ago let alone a few years ago. But he's still pretty damn good. He was our best player last night in an annoying but respectable loss. I don't think he was taking some shot at the team, someone asked him a question and the answer he gave is obviously true to anyone who has watched the team this season.

If LeBron wants to be the leader, he should be able to take criticism instead of only giving it.

LeBron is fine if he were paid Dirk's contract, but he's 52 millions it's a reason why Lakers can't sustain 48 minutes of energy

No..a vet minimum player should be out there busting his a**, every second he's on the court. The lower your salary, the hungrier you should be. That's how it goes, you are talking about skill level, I'm talking about effort.

I don't expect Luka to be sprinting around all game either, but I expect more energy from him, he's 26.
