don't worry, Rob Pelinka is his own man, he’s not gonna make trades based on what a player’s agent said in a podcast

I have no issue with what LeBron said. I wouldn't expect him to throw his friend and business partner under the bus publicly.

If that was my agent disrespecting one of my teammates in an already fragile roster, I would have lit him up.

my issue is it's the second time--at least--that he's been way out of line commenting on the lakers, given his position. if you're a podcaster, you're not an agent. if you're an agent, you're not a podcaster. lebron needed to smack him with newspaper the first time. honestly, before the first time. this is ridiculous, imo.

Rich Paul is shooting himself in the foot professionally. Other team’s GMs see what is going on.

I don't really know, what's going on here, (Lebron loves Austin, without a doubt)

    "Lebronshame"

but for some reason, Paul has definitely decided to go full scorched earth, on the f*** Rob Pelinka train. Funny enough, I thoroughly expect Lebron to be straight balling out, while this latest "controversy " rages.

Lol..SMH..The Lakers make bizarre moves sometimes. With as much s*** as JJ talked about AD as a podcaster, we still hired him as our head coach, with zero coaching experience. Has James made any public comments on this little bruha yet?

Not sure if mentioned but Lebron hasn't changed his game to catch and shoot like a lot of us thought he would. Still dominating the ball, albeit it's a lot more without Reaves. Usage for the season is still 27.7. I rather him be in the PJ Washington role tbh.

Because Reaves is out. And no one else consistently scores besides Luka.

Three point shooting also went down with Reaves out. We are 23rd in attempts and makes and 25th in percentage. Chain reaction.

Yeah I thought Lebron played it correctly. Rich doesn't speak for me, Austin is my boy, but Rich is entitled to say, whatever the f*** he wants. We don't have to agree on it though.

Lebron and Rich try to make Austin leave as a FA so the Lakers have no choice to extend Lebron ..

it would definitely put them in a position of power if we committed to operating over the cap, which trading austin for big guaranteed salary would do. same with trading expirings and picks for salary extending past next year. it may not be the sole motivation, but it's a factor in the public pressure for trades. i guarantee our front office is pushing way back on this in actual conversations with teams. our stance is most likely: we're open for business, but i have to believe that what i'm getting beats what i can get on the open market in july. these ain't the westbrook years, mofos.

anyway, rich is just flailing now. he got outflanked by the supposedly dumbest gm in the league. he can't really demand a trade because a) optics and b) contenders can't match the giant salary. he can't even threaten to sit because the team has looked as good without lebron as it has with him.

his best course is to stfu and take his medicine.

i actually do believe that lebron isn't telling rich to say any of this and is probably annoyed by it, though. i just think he could have shut it down earlier/pre-empted it. like, you know how that guy feels, privately--you think he wasn't going to say it on his d****** radio show?
