no pressure either in dallas compared to playing in LA, which is a big advantage for him

Without LeBron mussing things up, he was an all star in the East. Now he might be all NBA.

Depends which three-point shot and mental engagement show up. And, I guess, how his ankle/knee holds up. It's not getting better with mileage.

kidd's already done with him, which you could kind of see in the preseason, tbh. they're playing two-way guys over him when they desperately need good guard play.

I wanted Russell number 1. He's had some productive years, and I wish the best for him. @ElginTheGreat knows...

Anyway, hope he gets it together.

Yeah. I favored him in that draft and was glad we got him over Okafor. The talent was there and he had some solid stretches but unfortunately he never got to the level we thought he could.

wonder what the story there is early. kidd had a really quick hook on him, then seemed kind of forced to let him play through his dlo-ness and help them finally get a W. coaches hate this guy, lol.

He probably should not lead that team in shot attempts when coming off the bench. Personal opinion.

    I know.

I thought he'd be fine with the Mavs. Rough shooting tonight

their offense is brutal, so the guy who can create his own shot gets the shots, lol.

starting to wonder if kidd is playing the giant lineup out of some sort of protest, but really i think that they can't sit thompson and they can't play thompson and dlo in the backcourt against starters.

and i know it worked for giannis or whatever, but i think playing flagg at pg is hurting him and the team. he's never played that spot.

I think he's a guy who has to play a certain way, and that requires that he has the ball in his hands. If you're not going to let him to that, and I understand why you might not, then you don't really want to have him on your team.

and there's no way you didn't know that when you signed him. i really think kidd was just trying to prove a point, and it's kind of backfired. it's not the first time a coach thought benching dlo would fix him and all it did was help you lose by even more.
