This guy is more important to the Lakers than we thought. Since he rarely missed games, it was tough to see his impact on the court. Not having him out there is a noticeable difference. I will never disrespect this dude's game again. Absolutely need him.
Great to have him back. Really helped with the defensive intensity out of the gate. He's clearly rusty from the injury though. Offense was rough, lucky we didn't need it.
Yes, to be expected on that offensive rust after sitting a few games, but really nice to see him return and hustling.
He’s so fast, Vogel said we really missed him for fast break offense and man he wasn’t kidding. His first game back and he was flying out for passes and easy layups like always.
So true. He is key to our transition game and it was on display last night as he got our for several of those sensational breaks that are in the Lebron passing highlight reel.
Wonder if KCP is still fastest guy on the team as was said 2 years ago by one of the staff. Would like to see a race with Schroeder. Nice having at least 2 burners.
Me, too. I was thrilled when we got him, then very disappointed for a long while. Glad he turned it all around and has become such a productive player for us. No way we would have won last year without him, especially with Bradley out for the playoffs. Right now KCP is playing the best, most consistent basketball I've seen from him on the Lakers. Maybe it was the extra confidence of winning the championship and playing a valuable role, plus the nice reward of the new contract. Regardless, it's great to see him shine.
Probably factored in, but Luke wasn't clanking all those shots for him. To think he'd go from a top notch brick maker to where he is today... that's one hell of a turnaround.
KCP is third in 3P% this season. Players usually get their contract and act a fool. KCP has increased his level of play. Damn, the Lakers really got a discount with KCP... He's always consistently good for us.
Again .... credit to Vogel last year sticking with him when first month or so everyone had the tar bubbling and feathers ready.
I was one of them! I was so irritated with KCP at the start of last season. As I said a few posts ago, I'm thrilled he turned it around and he really came through in the bubble with Bradley out. He stepped up, helped us win the chip and deserved every bit of his raise with the new contract (which was actually a little cheaper than I expected)!
Prison changed him he no longer walked around like he had a stick up his butt he discovered it doesn't feel good frealz --Dwight (probably)
