Ramona just said the Lakers should call on LeBron and offer one of Lonzo or Ingram. I wanted to throw my radio out the window. No thanks.
When he can just come here next year? No thanks. You offer them Deng and JC. Rob must be calling Rich Paul right now cause why not.
Great so when lebron breaks down in 3-4 years if not sooner we don't have multiple young pieces to fall back on. Real smart Ramona
I'd throw everything aside from Ball/Ingram at the Cavs right now for him including future 1sts. If Lebron wants to come here and forces the issue, the Cavs would benefit from taking a crap ton of young assets for him.
Lebron has a perfect out to leave now without getting blame. Hey, I left because Dan Gilbert let go of David Griffin and Kyrie demanded a trade, the situation was too toxic for me going forward to commit to that team. Everyone blames Gilbert, we all laugh at the irony (Basketball reasons)
Wouldn't be surprised if Leborn and Kyrie planned this whole thing to make sure both come out looking good and in better situations, neither being left high and dry.
Exactly what I'm thinking. The only reason I question whether or not they are working together is because LBJ would still be stuck in Cleveland without Kyrie for a season. If this would have come out in late June of next year, I would have bought it.
...Unless... Lebron comes out very soon with: "I'm out of here 100% next summer and the ONLY team I'll resign with is the Lakers. Better trade me now. Oh and by the way. Lakers, don't gut your team. Lowball the ish out of Gilbert."
Kyrie caught Lebron looking at Lonzo Ball like he was ready to risk it all and wanted out of the relationship...
2018 Lebron >> 2005 Shaq, but let's not forget that Shaq wasn't in any way over the hill, fat end of career Shaq in 2005. he finished a close 2nd in MVP voting. https://www.basketball-reference.com/awards/awards_2005.html What was the Shaq trade? Odom/Butler/Grant and a late 1st? Is Randle/Clarkson/Zu/Deng/1st that much worse? (assuming Lebron demands the Lakers)
