LA is capped out and looking at about 106.5m in team salary (roughly 4.5m above the salary cap of 101.9m) for 15 players on the roster (not counting our 2way contracts of Caruso and Wear). We're roughly 17m away from the luxury tax threshold (123.7m) and roughly 23m away from the cap apron (aka hard cap of 129.8m). We are not in any danger of paying tax or being hard capped this coming year.

With the additions of Rondo and Stevenson to our perimeter defense of Zo, Hart, KCP and the Kraken arms of BI, our perimeter D should be lit. Add in our Sasha doppleganger with the 47th pick and LA should be right at, if not better, than the 3rd place defensive ranking we got in holding opposing 3s to 34.6%. Only Boston (33.9%) and Philly (34.2%) did better. Also Stevenson helped the Pacers earn 5th overall and Rondo helped the Pelicans earn 8th overall in those 3FG% defensive rankings.
