she was diplomatic there. she's pretty good with the press. her answer about lebron was great, too: "we support our players in their decisions". this is why lebron and AD are here and not in boston.

    THT looks a little slimmer.

my thought was always that he should lean into his strength and play sf, but it looks like he's trying to be a guard. he has the ball skills there, but his shot still hasn't gotten there (and likely won't at this point).

anyway, bronny just looks like a man already, physically. if he shows he can defend in practice against dlo/reaves, he could find his way onto the floor sooner than people think.

    @OX1947 vs Me on Mozgov 1- 0

Me vs @OX1947 on Bronny minus zero chance to be an NBA player will make it 1-1.

With the pedigree, mindset and genes from Pops and that body already .... how does anyone at this youngest of age even begin to know a player's heart and work ethic?

max contract in 3 years, book it

    *sigh*

We're stuck with a James for the next 20 years. Has Bronny knocked anyone up yet? It can get worse.

Man, I was really pulling for THT to round into that dependable guard off the bench for us. He was fun to watch early on, but then our FO chose him over The Eagle and the rest is history.

THT just really hasn't developed much. he's basically been about this good since he was 19, which is weird.

Just like Christie, they both suck. Mac is 2 years younger but if he doesn't prove himself under JJ... what a waste of a roster spot

Meh..no NBA team, is relying on the 12th-15th roster spot players, to make any impact. Well... unless they are trying to tank, I guess.

we agree here. to me 12-15 (almost 10-15, really) are for vet leaders or development projects. you shouldn't need rotation-quality guys in the 12 spot. if you do, your problems are probably already too large to overcome no matter who that 12th guy is.

:D ..... abeer is talking about THT, Kenzo about Christie and Slick about Bronny .... it seems. Unless he feels Max is all the way down to that level in the depth chart which I doubt (for this season).

And @OX1947 "terrible" in reply to me :D .... no idea.

i was agreeing with slick's general point that the end of the roster shouldn't be something we're worried about in terms of immediate on-court impact. bronny falls under that umbrella. THT didn't once we signed him to a bigger deal, and max doesn't starting this year. we're paying him over the tpmle/bae--he needs to be playable every night.

I think Max will be. I don’t really remember any games where Max got played off the court. More like they wanted to pressure the ball which Cam does, while max has good fundamental and contain defense so Cam got the playing time.

    LOL
The first game-worn jersey of Bronny James' Los Angeles Lakers career sold for $38,400 in a Friday auction at Sotheby's.

The son of Lakers star LeBron James wore the jersey during his Las Vegas Summer League debut on July 12.

Houston Rockets No. 3 pick Reed Sheppard saw his jersey go for $15,600, while San Antonio Spurs No. 4 selection Stephon Castle's jersey sold for $6,000.

A game-worn jersey from Atlanta Hawks No. 1 pick Zaccharie Rischacher sold for $3,360.
