I wouldn't be surprised if this is what the King's are thinking/hoping. They are unlikely to receive equal talent for him in a trade.
Another name that could get salary dumped/moved this summer: Rudy Gay. He's unhappy where he is, routinely marginalized by the presence of Cousins and Rondo. There's plenty of issues with what Rudy brings, but what do you think? So far the list of dump candidates right now that I can think of are: Cousins Gay Carmelo Although the Knicks and Kings would ask for quite a bit back for Cousins or Carmelo.
Just wanted to say I'd be pissed if I lived in Sacramento too Nothing to do but tipping cows And finding new varieties of flavored chew.
We all should have seen it coming ..... a really interesting guy like you would also turn out to be a prolific poet
I might have hidden talents But to speak in verse one must be truly inspired Like when I'm dwelling on the thought Of bYRON sCOTT after he has expired.
Real, if you keep bringing up old man Melo making 24 mil per year and perpetually annoyed for no reason Cousins as options for us, this is going to happen
I like Cousins. I'm not a fan of Gay or Carmelo. When Cleveland fails again this year, throw Love on that list, too.
http://www.basketballinsiders.com/nba-am-whiteside-deserves-recognition-max-deal/ Alex Kennedy wrote a piece on Hassan Whiteside that's honestly exactly what I and others have said the last couple months. but it comes with some quotes and other context. Take a look. Especially you @Savory Griddles !
he should probably opt in to his deal. after two consecutive seasons ended with knee surgery, i'm guessing the long-term high-dollar offers won't be pouring in this summer. the real risky play would be to try and get him long term at a cheaper salary. could bite you if his injury woes continue, or could be a huge boon should they clear up.
Yep. Parsons is off the list. Next? I'll settle for B Tier FA's. I'm tired of losing games and being irrelevant by the time April comes around. It's getting old.
Sure is. It's caused my wanting to watch the NBA especially late in the season to dissipate to some degree. Just not the same without the Lakers in the playoffs. We need to get back there and quickly. We can't become the Sixers.
Nah I'm pretty much set in liking him as a pickup. Draft Ingram, sign Whiteside, and that's a young core that could be a real problem in a few years. Or use that pick to maybe go get a guy with more experience and they could be a problem even sooner.
You think any of these teams that have FA's this summer would be interested in a sign and trade? Maybe we draft someone at 3rd, and then sign and trade for say...Nic Batum? Is that a possibility or nah?
