I have seen the reports of Sexton always having negative +/- throughout his career due to how bad he is on defense, but I suspect +/- and the traditional advanced analytics are overblown. There is no way the Lakers sign Sexton unless he passes Rohan Ramadas’ (Lakers new director of analytics) top secret analytics metrics. I found some defensive clips of Sexton which absolutely passes the eye test that he can be an all defense lockdown player. He's borderline crazy. Type of guy that will get us a game on the road on Tuesday going berserk for 15 in the 4th. And then on Thursday drives us crazy and goes 2-15 and 6 TOs lol I like having those on a team and it's up to JJ to manage his leash

going to be good to have someone aside from luka/reaves who can really go get his against top competition. i think for guys who missed schroder, he's going to bring all that back. i think he's better than schroder, fwiw.
I believe Collin is significantly better than Dennis and I liked Dennis. Collin is going to have stretches where he plays so well we will be able to rest Luka a little more and hopefully keep him healthy. Maybe AR as well. It is likely we will have some head scratching moments but those come with anyone, they just seem to stand out more with the high energy guys. For me, Collin was an important signing.
