It is but his passing in traffic or on the perimeter isn't quite there. He can dump off or hit a corner pass when he's in the post though. But that's small potatoes compared to the shooting whoas. We have to get a shooting coach with all that new money the team has... hell, get 4 of them. And Thiero needs to shoot a thousand 3s a day for a full year. That's what's going to keep him in a limited role.
I want to bottle the optimism of fans and implement it in every area of my life. I would be the happiest person on earth with the brightest outlook. I will start today. I may become outrageously positive and difficult to be around if you are in a foul mood. I will even find reasons to be happy about every Rob and Kurt move. And even player extensions. Take this journey with me. Choose to love life.
Nothing to be gained by being salty and soured, unless of course you are making a margarita, in that case, have at it.
Super raw. Doesn’t have much of a bag. Cant euro. Probably the most athleticism on the team though besides Carr. Can’t shoot. Misses so many FTs. Still rooting for the kid bc he’s a Laker, but he has a lot to work on if he’s going to survive in the NBA. I do love his hustle, active hands, defense. He has got that going for him.
I can see him (and Kuminga) running some P&R with Luka while Mamu at the 5. Mamu goes to the corner and we can use Adou's hops in the P&R. It also mitigates his lack of shooting as we hide him there I'm sensing he won't see the floor to start the season if we make the couple moves that are being rumoured (Kuminga and Thybulle/other wing, heard Cam Johnson too). If we don't make any moves, he has more chances of suiting up every day. I do think the bench rotation is up for grabs and JJ will probably evaluate in training camp, preseason and even the first couple months. It's a whole new group so there'll be a growing curve and some mix and matching. Personally, even if we beef up the roster, I think it would be very important to give him at least a stint per half. I'd get if he gets a couple months in the g-league and focus on some specific work, while JJ works to build some continuity with a more solidified group, so Adou can start having some minutes around Xmas time, around the time injuries start piling up. That's probably the best for all parties
This would be a dream. Crash was a really good defender in his prime and just had a relentless motor. Adou has the athleticism and the body type to resemble him, if he took develop into that, we win multiple rings with Kessler and Carr (even if he jsut becomes passable on defense).
here's a question. Why is there a picture of Steve Nash on the front page of the site? I didn't notice before, but it's massively outdated.
