VAMOOOOOS Lakers Up big by 16 points at half time . Unless something happens Lakers will finish 1st for playoffs seeding. Atlanta needs to win like by 25 + only these 2 teams didn't lose yet
One could only hope that the big club can play with the same rhythm and chemistry that this summer league team plays with.
Just looked him up. Ty Abbott. He does player development. Turning 38 next month. He played college ball, overseas, and some g league. He joined us Aug 2024. He clearly seems to know what he’s doing. Maybe we can get him onto some assistant role?! Let’s have someone else do the player development coaching.
He is an assistant coach on JJ’s staff, he just does a lot of player development work as a part of that.
Cream only 2 minutes? it’s like we don’t even care about the future of our franchise. What are they thinking?
I like the way they fought all the way to the last second even thought we had such a big lead The over all team effort was there Credit to the players and on the coach for having them ready
Didn't get around to watching the Bulls game until last night. Thoughts: This team is really good. Ty's got them playing tough, physical intense defense which isn't the norm for this setting. They are playing together, you don't see a lot of individual auditioning. Steam rolling teams and hopefully that continues tonight against GS. I like that Thiero got the lion's share of the reps against Wilson. That's a good measuring stick for where he is against top end talent in the SL. Also glad Carr got tested. Bulls have a lot of physical athletes and that bothered him a bit, still finished with a solid game though. Didn't lessen his confidence or him talking the talk. The Thiero-Carr two man game on the break is a fun one. Manon has seemed more aggressive in the past 2½ games, like the coaching staff has been encouraging him to drive more. Resulted in a game high 6 ftas in this one. Suder on Wilson in the 2nd Q was horrifying. That's about as bad a matchup as he's going to find. Thiero's got to get a reliable finishing move at the rim when the defense is set. He's great at getting there. What happens when he gets there?... hopefully free throws. Kaluma continues to look like he belongs. He comes in hot, that first J that he gets during his first shift is usually money. 1st and 4th Qs he put together his best stretches. Zhaire had his best game with us, by far. Played under control, didn't force anything. Game slowed down for him a bit. In the final 5 minutes or so of the game, he strung together 4-5 really good plays on both ends.
